What You’ll Do


· Design end-to-end solution architecture for vendor incentives, customer incentives, contracts, chargebacks, rebates, and related commercial processes.

· Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define current-state challenges, future-state capabilities, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.

· Lead architecture work for large-scale transformation initiatives, including solution design, integration planning, governance, and implementation support.

· Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs across SAP Vistex V4, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD/FI, cloud platforms, data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.

· Evaluate technology options, vendor solutions, and process improvements; recommend approaches that balance value, risk, cost, usability, compliance, and speed to delivery.

· Create clear architecture artifacts, decision materials, process flows, reference models, and executive-ready recommendations.

· Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, operations, vendors, and enterprise architecture teams to drive adoption and measurable business impact.

· Identify risks, dependencies, and change impacts; support issue resolution and continuous improvement across solution delivery.


Basic Requirements


· Typically requires 4+ years of relevant professional experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, business process transformation, SAP solution delivery, data architecture, or closely related roles.

· Experience with vendor incentives, customer incentives, contracts, chargebacks, rebates, pricing, finance, or commercial operations processes.

· Experience designing or delivering solution architecture for enterprise business applications.

· Experience building or contributing to business cases, including value drivers, cost / benefit analysis, process impacts, risks, and implementation recommendations.

· Experience leading or supporting large-scale transformation initiatives across business and technology teams.

· Experience creating architecture artifacts, process documentation, future-state designs, and stakeholder-facing decision materials.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.


Preferred Skills/Experience


· Experience with SAP Vistex V4, including incentives, contracts, chargebacks, rebates, or claims-related capabilities.

· Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with SAP SD and SAP FI.

· Consulting experience in business process improvement, enterprise transformation, solution strategy, or operating model design.

· Experience with AI-enabled business process optimization, automation, analytics, or decision-support capabilities.

· Experience with cloud technologies, integration patterns, data platforms, APIs, and enterprise security considerations.

· Experience in healthcare, distribution, life sciences, retail, manufacturing, or other complex, regulated environments.

· Ability to influence without direct authority and communicate complex concepts to both technical and business audiences.

· Experience working with external partners, system integrators, software vendors, or managed service providers.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
