À titre de Spécialiste bilingue en remboursement, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel en aidant les patients à obtenir l’accès aux traitements prescrits grâce aux programmes de remboursement publics, privés et commandités par les fabricants. Au sein d’un Programme de soutien aux patients (PSP), vous collaborerez avec les patients, les professionnels de la santé, les assureurs et les pharmacies afin de faciliter l’accès à la couverture, de résoudre les enjeux liés au remboursement et de contribuer à des résultats positifs pour les patients.
Ce poste convient parfaitement aux personnes possédant une expérience en remboursement, en assurance, en administration des soins de santé, en programmes de soutien aux patients ou en services pharmaceutiques. La réussite dans ce rôle repose sur de solides compétences en service à la clientèle, un grand souci du détail, une forte capacité d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes, ainsi que la capacité de gérer simultanément plusieurs dossiers patients dans un environnement dynamique.
Ce que vous ferez
- Gérer un portefeuille de patients inscrits aux Programmes de soutien aux patients et les accompagner tout au long du processus de remboursement.
- Examiner et traiter les documents d’inscription des patients afin d’assurer leur intégration rapide aux services du programme.
- Collaborer avec les patients, les professionnels de la santé, les assureurs et les pharmacies afin d’obtenir la couverture de remboursement pour les traitements prescrits.
- Évaluer et coordonner les options de couverture offertes par les régimes d’assurance publics, privés et collectifs.
- Vérifier les demandes de remboursement et la documentation connexe afin d’en assurer l’exactitude, l’exhaustivité et la conformité aux exigences du programme.
- Réaliser des évaluations d’admissibilité à l’aide financière conformément aux lignes directrices du programme.
- Assurer un suivi proactif des dossiers patients afin que les renouvellements de remboursement, d’aide financière et de couverture soient effectués en temps opportun.
- Coordonner l’accès aux médicaments et l’initiation des traitements avec les pharmacies spécialisées et communautaires.
- Répondre aux demandes de renseignements entrantes et sortantes concernant le remboursement, la couverture et les services offerts dans le cadre du programme.
- Tenir à jour des dossiers patients précis et détaillés dans les systèmes de gestion de cas et de gestion de la relation client (CRM).
- Traiter et maintenir à jour la documentation liée aux soins des patients, notamment les rapports de laboratoire, les rapports d’infusion et les dossiers de remboursement.
- Recevoir, documenter et signaler les événements indésirables conformément aux procédures du programme et aux exigences du fabricant.
- Contribuer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue, aux programmes de qualité et aux projets opérationnels.
- Respecter les ententes de niveaux de service (ENS), les normes de qualité et les indicateurs clés de performance (ICP) établis.
Exigences de base
- Diplôme, certificat ou grade d’études postsecondaires, ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.
- Généralement deux années ou plus d’expérience pertinente en remboursement, en programmes de soutien aux patients, en administration des soins de santé, en assurance, en soutien aux pharmacies, en service à la clientèle ou en gestion de dossiers.
- Bilinguisme français et anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
- Expérience dans la gestion simultanée de plusieurs dossiers, cas ou comptes clients.
- Excellentes aptitudes en service à la clientèle et en communication.
- Maîtrise des applications Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et Outlook).
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et grand souci du détail.
Compétences et expérience privilégiées
- Expérience de travail au sein d’un Programme de soutien aux patients (PSP).
- Expérience en navigation du processus de remboursement, en autorisations préalables, en soumission auprès des payeurs ou en vérification des assurances.
- Connaissance des systèmes de remboursement publics et privés au Canada.
- Connaissance des médicaments spécialisés, des produits biologiques, des traitements pour maladies rares ou des thérapies par perfusion.
- Expérience de collaboration avec des professionnels de la santé, des pharmacies, des assureurs ou des fabricants pharmaceutiques.
- Connaissance du signalement des événements indésirables et des exigences de conformité du secteur de la santé.
- Expérience avec des plateformes CRM, des systèmes de gestion de cas ou des systèmes de gestion des patients.
- Expérience dans un centre de contact ou dans un environnement de soutien aux patients à volume élevé.
Environnement de travail et exigences physiques
- Utilisation fréquente d’ordinateurs, du téléphone et de plusieurs applications logicielles tout au long de la journée de travail.
- Capacité à demeurer assis pendant de longues périodes tout en gérant les dossiers patients et la documentation.
- Disponibilité pour travailler selon des horaires rotatifs à l’intérieur des heures d’exploitation, soit de 8 h à 20 h, du lundi au vendredi.

About the Role
As a Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping patients access prescribed therapies through public, private, and manufacturer-sponsored reimbursement programs. Working within a Patient Support Program (PSP), you will collaborate with patients, healthcare providers, insurers, and pharmacies to facilitate coverage, navigate reimbursement challenges, and support positive patient outcomes.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in reimbursement, insurance, healthcare administration, patient support programs, or pharmaceutical services. Success in this position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple patient cases in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a caseload of patients enrolled in Patient Support Programs and support them throughout the reimbursement journey.
- Review and process patient enrollment documentation to ensure timely onboarding into program services.
- Collaborate with patients, healthcare providers, insurers, and pharmacies to obtain reimbursement coverage for prescribed therapies.
- Investigate and coordinate coverage options through public, private, and employer-sponsored insurance plans.
- Review reimbursement submissions and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with program requirements.
- Conduct financial assistance assessments in accordance with program guidelines.
- Proactively monitor patient files to ensure reimbursement renewals, financial assistance renewals, and coverage updates are completed on time.
- Coordinate medication access and treatment initiation with specialty and retail pharmacies.
- Respond to inbound and outbound inquiries regarding reimbursement, coverage, and program services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within case management and CRM systems.
- Process and maintain documentation related to patient care, including lab reports, infusion reports, and reimbursement records.
- Receive, document, and report adverse events in accordance with program procedures and manufacturer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, quality programs, and operational projects.
- Meet established service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Basic Requirements:
- Postsecondary diploma, certificate, or degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 2+ years of relevant experience in reimbursement, patient support programs, healthcare administration, insurance, pharmacy support, customer service, or case management.
- Bilingual in English and French (written and verbal).
- Experience managing multiple cases, files, or customer accounts simultaneously.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience working within a Patient Support Program (PSP).
- Experience with reimbursement navigation, prior authorizations, payer submissions, or insurance verification.
- Knowledge of Canadian public and private reimbursement systems.
- Familiarity with specialty pharmaceuticals, biologics, rare disease therapies, or infusion therapies.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, insurers, or pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Knowledge of adverse event reporting and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience using CRM, case management, or patient management platforms.
- Contact centre or high-volume patient support experience.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of computer systems, telephone, and multiple software applications throughout the workday.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while managing patient cases and documentation.
- May be required to work rotating schedules between business operating hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
