As aPortfolio StrategyInternat McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our businessbyassistingwithmarketresearch,tracking product performance, and making strategic recommendations that minimize risk and position the company for innovation.You will work directlywithsenior leaders in Commercial Strategy & Innovationto:

  • Analyzecustomerintelligence:Explore primary and secondary customer researchmethodologies and how to apply them in business settings. 

  • Gather and analyzemarket intelligence:Conduct competitive market research to uncover trends and use them to formulate product strategy. 

  • Build compellingstrategic recommendations:Synthesize collectedinformationinto evidence-basedstrategic recommendationsthat direct future actions.

  • Gain experience in healthcare strategy:Join a Center of Excellence to learn how healthcare innovation works from start to finish.

Intern Program Details:

·       Paid Internship

·       Full time / 10 weeks

·       Position will be based out of our Irving, TX location

·       The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching

·       Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing agraduatedegree inSocial Sciences, Public Health,Business Administration,HealthcareAdministrationor a related field.

  • Experience assisting or leading research activities, such asinterviews, focus groups,statistical analysis,document review,evaluation,etc.

  • Excitedabout complex healthcare challenges.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Skills:

  • Solid interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability topresent to cross functional audiencesand leaders

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$17.33 - $28.88
