CoverMyMeds’ Shared Capabilities and Partnerships team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Data Products & Analytics to join our Enabling Capabilities team and be the primary Product Management contact responsible for a single analytics and platform roadmap. This is a great opportunity to work on highly strategic and quickly evolving capabilities that drive CMM’s future growth.  What You'll Do

As a Sr. Product Manager your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect: 

  • Owns the product roadmap for data modernization, data products, and analytics/dashboards delivered back to pharma manufacturers, grounded in the underlying data layout and dimensions of CMM's Access and Affordability products 
  • Documents business and data requirements into clear, engineering-ready specifications (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria) for engineering teams to build against 
  • Operates within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) model, writing and refining backlog items, participating in PI Planning, and partnering with Release Train Engineers to sequence delivery 
  • Partners closely with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Science, and Data Analytics teams to translate business requirements into data models, pipelines, and reportable outputs 
  • Conducts structured discovery and feedback interviews with Retail and Specialty Commercial teams to validate data product concepts, prioritize features, and close the loop between build and business need 
  • Partners with Go-to-Market teams to build enablement assets (training materials, FAQs, positioning) so new data products and dashboards land cleanly with internal and external audiences 
  • Proactively engages with Product, Commercial and Operations teams to identify value proposition, drive alignment on product evolution, and properly position products in the marketplace 
  • Makes recommendations to assess product needs and implement solutions across data platforms, teams, and stakeholders of increased complexity and scope 
  • Uses influence to move teams through buy-in of product direction; encourages engagement and creativity across the team 
  • Ensures features and product direction are legal and compliant particularly around de-identification and data-sharing standards, collaborating with legal/compliance/privacy teams to triage issues and advise leadership 

Required Skills

  • Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.  
  • Experience in product management or technology product development, ideally within healthcare, pharmacy, or clinical data environments 
  • Working knowledge of the data layout, dimensions, and relationships underlying CMM's Access and Affordability products (or comparable prior-auth/affordability program data) 
  • Experience delivering analytics platforms, including familiarity with how data moves through progressive stages from raw collection, to cleansing and integration, to business-ready, reportable form 
  • Working knowledge of how clinical and pharmacy transaction data, including prescription claims, prior authorization/access, and affordability program data, is structured and connected across systems, and how that structure shapes what analyses and insights are possible 
  • Experience partnering directly with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Science teams to shape data models and pipelines that feed analytics/reporting layers 
  • Experience with shared technology platforms and services such as APIs, master data, and visualization tools 
  • Experience with healthcare data de-identification and data-sharing frameworks, including HIPAA Safe Harbor, Expert Determination, and third-party tokenization solutions (e.g., Datavant) 
  • Ownership mindset around data quality and trust, defining documentation standards and practices that keep data reliable and reusable across teams, and broader comfort with data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) 
  • Experience writing detailed product requirements (epics/features/user stories with acceptance criteria) for engineering teams, translating business and data needs into buildable specs 
  • Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, familiarity with Epic Hypothesis Statements, Feature breakdown, PI Planning, and backlog refinement (Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager a plus) 
  • Experience running stakeholder interviews/discovery sessions to gather and synthesize feedback on data product concepts 
  • Experience building go-to-market enablement materials (training, FAQs) for data/analytics products 
  • Ability to use data strategically to inform product roadmaps and operational decisions, including designing scenario or "what-if" tools that let stakeholders weigh tradeoffs 
  • Experience developing and prioritizing product roadmaps, balancing new strategic features, growth initiatives, technology improvements, and ongoing sustaining work 
  • Self-starter who can work through ambiguity collaboratively with cross-functional teams 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with both technical and business stakeholders 

Preferred Skills 

  • Prior experience in our relevant product spaces including medication access, affordability, pharmacy and provider networks, and specialty pharmacy is valued. 
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and patient mastering/identity resolution across disparate healthcare data sources.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$119,300 - $198,800
