Description du poste
À titre de stagiaire en automatisation de l'assurance qualité (AQ), vous contribuerez à la qualité et à la fiabilité de nos systèmes de vente au détail en concevant, développant et maintenant des tests automatisés pour des applications et des processus d'affaires essentiels. Vous utiliserez des outils de développement propulsés par l'IA, comme GitHub Copilot et Claude Code, afin d'accélérer le développement de l'automatisation des tests, d'améliorer la couverture des tests et d'accroître l'efficacité de la livraison.
Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec des spécialistes AQ, des développeurs, des analystes d'affaires, des responsables de produits et des équipes DevOps afin de valider les fonctionnalités des applications de vente au détail, les intégrations, les flux de données et les scénarios de régression. Ce stage vous permettra d'acquérir une expérience concrète en ingénierie de la qualité, en automatisation des tests, en intégration et livraison continues (CI/CD), en analyse des anomalies et en ingénierie logicielle assistée par l'IA dans un environnement TI lié au commerce de détail.
Responsabilités
Concevoir, développer et maintenir des scripts de tests automatisés pour les systèmes de vente au détail, les processus d'affaires et les intégrations applicatives.
Utiliser GitHub Copilot et Claude Code pour accélérer la création, l'optimisation et la maintenance des scripts de tests automatisés.
Soutenir les activités de validation des fonctionnalités applicatives, des scénarios de régression, des processus d'affaires de bout en bout, des API, de la validation des données et des intégrations système.
Intégrer des suites de tests automatisés dans des pipelines CI/CD afin de permettre les tests continus et d'obtenir une rétroaction plus rapide.
Collaborer avec les spécialistes AQ, les développeurs, les analystes d'affaires et les responsables de produits afin d'identifier, reproduire et corriger les anomalies logicielles.
Analyser les résultats des tests, enquêter sur les échecs et documenter clairement les constats, avec les preuves et les prochaines étapes recommandées.
Participer aux activités de tests de régression, fonctionnels, de validation rapide (smoke testing), d'intégration et de bout en bout.
Contribuer à l'amélioration des cadres d'automatisation des tests, des normes, des composants réutilisables et des pratiques exemplaires.
Documenter les scénarios de test, les approches d'automatisation, les besoins en données de test et les leçons apprises.
Explorer continuellement les nouveaux outils d'IA et les pratiques d'ingénierie de la qualité afin d'améliorer l'efficacité, la couverture et la maintenabilité des tests.
Qualifications
Être actuellement inscrit(e) à un baccalauréat en informatique, en génie logiciel, en technologies de l'information ou dans un domaine connexe.
Posséder des connaissances de base en programmation (JavaScript, Vue.js, PHP, Java, Python ou langages similaires).
Démontrer un intérêt pour l'assurance qualité logicielle, l'automatisation des tests et les pratiques modernes de développement.
Avoir une connaissance des cycles de développement logiciel (SDLC), des méthodologies Agile et des concepts DevOps.
Comprendre les bases du système de gestion de versions Git.
Une expérience avec des outils de tests automatisés tels que Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, SpecFlow ou des outils similaires constitue un atout.
Un intérêt pour les systèmes de vente au détail, les tests de processus d'affaires, les intégrations de systèmes et la validation des données constitue un atout important.
Faire preuve de curiosité envers les outils de développement logiciel assistés par l'IA, notamment GitHub Copilot et Claude Code.
Posséder un bon esprit d'analyse, un grand souci du détail et d'excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes.
Être capable de travailler efficacement dans un environnement collaboratif.

Job Description
As a QA Automation Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the quality and reliability of our Retail systems by designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for business-critical applications and workflows. You will use AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate test automation development, improve test coverage, and increase delivery efficiency.
You will work closely with QA engineers, developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to validate retail application functionality, integrations, data flows, and regression scenarios. This internship will provide hands-on experience in quality engineering, test automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery, defect analysis, and AI-assisted software engineering in a Retail IT environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Retail systems, business workflows, and application integrations.
Use GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate the creation, optimization, and maintenance of automated test scripts.
Support testing for retail application functionality, regression scenarios, end-to-end business processes, APIs, data validation, and system integrations.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback.
Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, business analysts, and product owners to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects.
Analyze test results, investigate failures, and document findings clearly with evidence and recommended next steps.
Support regression, functional, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
Contribute to improving test automation frameworks, standards, reusable components, and best practices.
Document test scenarios, automation approaches, test data needs, and lessons learned.
Continuously explore emerging AI tools and quality engineering practices to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and maintainability.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Vue.js, PHP, Java, Python, or similar languages.
Interest in software quality assurance, test automation, and modern development practices.
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps concepts.
Basic understanding of Git version control.
Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, SpecFlow, or similar is an asset.
Interest in Retail systems, business process testing, system integrations, and data validation is a strong asset.
Curiosity about AI-assisted software development tools including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Good communication skills and motivation to learn new technologies and business processes.
Bilingual (English/French) preferred
