Ce rôle se situe à l’intersection de l’ingénierie des données, de l’approche produit, de la livraison Agile, de la gouvernance, du DataOps et de l’innovation. La personne retenue dirigera une équipe multidisciplinaire responsable de livrer des produits de données fiables, évolutifs, sécurisés et réutilisables qui soutiennent les capacités d’affaires des domaines Commercial, Santé spécialisée, Chaîne d’approvisionnement, Entreprise et Numérique.
Contrairement à un rôle traditionnel de leadership en ingénierie des données, ce poste est responsable non seulement de la livraison technique, mais aussi de la prise en charge du service, de l’évolution de la plateforme, de la modernisation des pratiques d’ingénierie et de l’adoption de capacités de livraison propulsées par l’IA, conformément à la feuille de route du Data Hub.
Principales responsabilités :
Diriger et développer des équipes hautement performantes
- Diriger, encadrer et inspirer une équipe d’ingénieurs de données et de spécialistes techniques.
- Établir une culture d’appropriation, de responsabilisation, d’inclusion, d’innovation et d’amélioration continue.
- S’assurer que les capacités techniques et de leadership sont alignées sur les besoins futurs du Data Hub.
- Soutenir la planification de la main-d’œuvre, le recrutement, le développement des talents, la planification de la relève et la gestion de la performance.
- Favoriser une mentalité axée sur les produits de données, centrée sur les résultats clients et la valeur d’affaires.
- Mettre en place des pratiques d’excellence opérationnelle.
Livrer des produits de données d’entreprise
- Assurer la conception, la mise en œuvre, le déploiement et le soutien de solutions de données à l’échelle de l’entreprise.
- Piloter la livraison de capacités évolutives d’ingestion, de transformation, de qualité, de sémantique et de consommation des données.
- Faire respecter les normes d’ingénierie, les modèles réutilisables, les balises d’architecture et les meilleures pratiques de développement.
- Collaborer étroitement avec les parties prenantes des secteurs d’affaires et de la technologie.
- Stimuler l’innovation en adoptant les technologies émergentes, en optimisant les flux de travail d’ingénierie et en améliorant les capacités techniques des équipes.
- Piloter la surveillance, l’observabilité, la gestion des incidents, l’analyse des causes fondamentales et l’amélioration continue des services.
- Offrir un leadership d’expertise sur les enjeux critiques, en guidant le dépannage, l’analyse des causes fondamentales et les plans de remédiation à long terme.
Favoriser l’excellence de la livraison Agile
- Faire progresser le parcours de transformation Agile du Data Hub.
- Améliorer la santé du carnet de travail, la priorisation, la discipline des sprints, la qualité des estimations et la prévisibilité de la livraison.
- Mettre en place des indicateurs mesurables d’ingénierie et de flux.
- Optimiser en continu la productivité des équipes, le débit de livraison et la réalisation de la valeur.
- Améliorer la visibilité, la gouvernance, la priorisation et la gestion de la capacité.
Améliorer la fiabilité et les opérations du service
- S’assurer que les solutions du Data Hub répondent aux exigences de fiabilité, de performance, de conformité et de maintenabilité.
- Piloter la surveillance, l’observabilité, la gestion des incidents, l’analyse des causes fondamentales et l’amélioration continue des services.
Qualifications minimales requises (connaissances, compétences et aptitudes) :
- Connaissance approfondie de l’intégration des données, des lacs de données, des entrepôts de données, de la modélisation des données et de la livraison de produits de données.
- Solide connaissance du CI/CD, du DevOps, de l’automatisation de l’ingénierie et des méthodologies de livraison Agile.
- Connaissance de l’ingénierie assistée par l’IA, de l’automatisation de la livraison logicielle et des technologies émergentes en IA.
- Expérience dans la mise en œuvre de contrôles de qualité des données, de tests automatisés, de pratiques de surveillance et d’observabilité.
- Compréhension des concepts de gestion des métadonnées, de traçabilité, de gouvernance, de catalogage et de propriété des données.

- Au moins 3 années d’expérience en gestion de personnel et en direction d’équipes techniques.

Senior Manager, Data Hub Engineering & Data Products
Position Summary:
McKesson Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Hub Engineering & Data Products to lead the evolution of our Enterprise Data Hub service. This individual will be responsible for building and scaling modern data engineering capabilities, enabling the delivery of trusted data products, advancing AI-enabled engineering practices, and driving operational excellence across the data lifecycle.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, product thinking, Agile delivery, governance, DataOps, and innovation. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering trusted, scalable, secure, and reusable data products that support business capabilities across Commercial, Specialty Health, Supply Chain, Enterprise, and Digital domains.
Unlike a traditional data engineering leadership role, this position is accountable not only for technical delivery, but also for service ownership, platform evolution, engineering modernization, and adoption of AI-powered delivery capabilities aligned to the Data Hub roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of data engineers and technical specialists.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, inclusiveness, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Ensure technical and leadership capabilities are aligned with the future needs of the Data Hub.
- Support workforce planning, recruiting, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Promote a data product mindset focused on customer outcomes and business value.
Establish and drive operational excellence practices.
Deliver Enterprise Data Products
- Ensure the design, implementation, deployment, and support of enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Drive the delivery of scalable data ingestion, transformation, quality, semantic, and consumption capabilities.
- Enforce engineering standards, reusable patterns, architecture guardrails, and development best practices.
- Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders.
Drive innovation through adoption of emerging technologies, optimization of engineering workflows, and enhancement of team technical capabilities. - Lead monitoring, observability, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
- Provide subject matter leadership on critical issues, guiding troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation plans.
Drive Agile Delivery Excellence
- Advance the Data Hub Agile transformation journey.
- Improve backlog health, prioritization, sprint discipline, estimation quality, and delivery predictability.
- Establish measurable engineering and flow metrics.
- Continuously optimize team productivity, delivery throughput, and value realization.
- Improve visibility, governance, prioritization, and capacity management.
Improve Service Reliability and Operations
- Ensure Data Hub solutions meet reliability, performance, compliance, and maintainability requirements.
- Lead monitoring, observability, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Deep knowledge of data integration, data lakes, data warehouses, data modeling, and data product delivery.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, engineering automation, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted engineering, software delivery automation, and emerging AI technologies.
- Experience implementing data quality controls, automated testing, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Understanding of metadata management, lineage, governance, data cataloging, and data ownership concepts.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead through change and influence both technical and business teams.
Business Experience:
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data management, data platforms, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of people management and technical team leadership experience.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions within complex business environments.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, architecture, products, quality, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting operational services with accountability for reliability, quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading Agile delivery teams and improving delivery maturity and predictability.
- Experience using AI-powered technologies to enhance engineering productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
