Relevant du vice-président/directeur général, Achats et Approvisionnement stratégique, le directeur principal, Achats et Approvisionnement stratégique, OTC-CPG Amérique du Nord, est un rôle de leadership clé responsable de piloter les relations commerciales avec les fournisseurs, tant au Canada qu’aux États-Unis, pour McKesson Global Procurement and Sourcing (MGPS). Ce poste dirige la stratégie de l’approvisionnement de bout en bout des dépenses commerciales liées aux canaux de vente en gros et au détail pour les catégories nationales de marques OTC-CPG en Amérique du Nord, dans le but de maximiser le rendement des fournisseurs et d’accroître la valeur commerciale pour les activités canadiennes et américaines. Ce leader favorise l’alignement stratégique entre les équipes MGPS des deux pays ainsi qu’avec les équipes de gestion des catégories, ventes, opérations et partenaires du commerce de détail et met en œuvre des programmes qui renforcent la position concurrentielle de McKesson ainsi que ses partenariats fournisseurs.
Section A – Responsabilités spécifiques
- Définit et est responsable de la stratégie nord-américaine de l’approvisionnement OTC-CPG pour les fonds commerciaux de vente en gros et au détail, en assurant une approche unifiée entre le Canada et les États-Unis tout en respectant les dynamiques de marché et exigences réglementaires propres à chaque pays.
- Assume le rôle de chef de file commercial principal auprès des fournisseurs OTC-CPG nord- américains, en stimulant des engagements fondés sur des partenariats afin de créer une valeur mutuelle pour les activités au Canada et aux Etats-Unis.
- Dirige le cadre de l’approvisionnement conjoint pour les canaux de vente en gros et au détail, en assurant l’uniformité des approches en matière d’engagement fournisseur, de stratégies de négociations et d’optimisation des fonds commerciaux à l’échelle continentale.
- Supervise et oriente les négociations fournisseurs, incluant l’initiation, la gestion et le renouvellement des ententes de vente en gros et au détail, des coûts, des allocations fournisseurs et des conditions commerciales pour les fournisseurs opérant sur les marchés en Amérique du Nord.
- Pilote la gestion de la performance des fournisseurs en établissant des indicateurs clés de performance (KPI), en menant des revues d’affaires régulières et en assurant le suivi des objectifs financiers liés à la croissance du rendement, à la protection des marges et à la récupération des fonds commerciaux dans les deux pays.
- Agit comme principal intermédiaire auprès des activités de commerce de détail de McKesson au Canada et aux Etats-Unis, en veillant à une compréhension approfondie des besoins des
catégories, des stratégies de mise en marché et des priorités clients de toutes les bannières de détail et divisions de vente en gros.
- Fait la promotion de l’innovation commerciale en identifiant continuellement de nouvelles occasions de génération de revenus, des programmes fournisseurs et des modèles de partenariats renfonçant la proposition de valeur OTC-CPG de McKesson sur les deux marchés.
- Collabore de façon transversale avec les équipes ventes, opérations, gestion des catégories et les principaux clients de McKesson à l’échelle nord-américaine afin d’identifier et de concrétiser des occasions à valeur ajoutée issues de l’écosystème fournisseur.
- Assure l’intégralité stratégique entre les marchés MGPS en collaborant étroitement avec les collègues de l’approvisionnement au Canada et aux Etats-Unis afin d’harmoniser les meilleur pratiques, de partager l’intelligence de marché et de maintenir une cohérence dans les messages et les interactions avec les fournisseurs.

- Encadre et développe des équipes de contributeurs individuels afin d’accroître leur niveau decompétence et leur sens des affaires, notamment par la tenue d’évaluations de performance, l’élaboration de plans de carrière individuels et le renforcement des objectifs de planification de la relève.
- Favorise le développement des compétences de l’équipe en matière de pratiques générales d’approvisionnement et de normes corporatives mondiales, notamment en lien avec la gestion des contrats de détail et la planification et l’approvisionnement des marques privées.
- Établit et met en œuvre les objectifs, et favorise une culture axée sur la performance, l’amélioration continue et la collaboration avec la direction, les pairs et les subordonnés.
- Agit à titre d’ambassadeur des valeurs corporatives de McKesson.

Expérience professionnelle
- Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience en négociation stratégique, gestion des relations fournisseurs, approvisionnement stratégique, planification manufacturière et gestion de catégories.
- Une expérience dans le secteur de la distribution en gros est considérée comme un atout.
- Une expérience en gestion de catégories au détail est considérée comme un atout.

Reporting to the VP/GM, Strategic Procurement and Sourcing, the Senior Director, Strategic Procurement and Sourcing, North American OTC-CPG is a critical leadership role responsible for driving commercial supplier relationships across both Canada and the United States for McKesson Global Procurement and Sourcing (MGPS). This role will lead the end-to-end wholesale and retail trade spend sourcing strategy for National Brand OTC-CPG categories across North America, with the objective of maximizing supplier yield and growing commercial value for both the Canadian and US businesses. The Senior Director will serve as the primary commercial interface with North American suppliers, leading negotiation activities, ensuring contract execution, and assessing supplier performance across markets. This leader will drive strategic alignment between MGPS teams in both countries, as well as with Category Management, Sales, Operations, and Retail stakeholders, to deliver programs that strengthen McKesson's competitive position and supplier partnerships.
Specific Responsibilities
Sets and owns the North American OTC-CPG sourcing strategy for both wholesale and retail trade funds, ensuring a unified approach across Canada and the US while respecting market-specific dynamics and regulatory requirements.
Acts as the senior commercial lead for North American OTC-CPG suppliers, driving partnership-oriented engagements that unlock mutual value across both the Canadian and US businesses.
Leads the joint sourcing framework across wholesale and retail channels, ensuring consistency in supplier engagement, negotiation strategies, and trade fund optimization on a continental scale.
Oversees and directs supplier negotiations, including the initiation, management, and renewal of wholesale and retail agreements, costs, vendor allowances, and commercial terms for suppliers operating across North American markets.
Drives supplier performance management by establishing KPIs, conducting regular business reviews, and monitoring financial targets tied to yield growth, margin protection, and trade fund recovery across both countries.
Serves as the primary liaison to McKesson's Retail businesses in both Canada and the US, ensuring the team deeply understands the category needs, go-to-market strategies, and customer priorities of all retail banners and wholesale divisions.
Champions commercial innovation by continuously seeking new revenue-generating opportunities, supplier programs, and partnership models that strengthen McKesson's OTC-CPG value proposition in both markets.
Collaborates cross-functionally with McKesson Sales, Operations, Category Management, and key customers across North America to identify and execute value-add opportunities presented by the supplier community.
Ensures strategic alignment across MGPS markets, partnering closely with sourcing colleagues in Canada and the US to harmonize best practices, share market intelligence, and maintain consistency in supplier messaging and engagement.

Position Requirements
Working Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic negotiations, vendor relationship management, strategic sourcing, manufacturer planning and category management.
Wholesale distribution experience is an asset.
Retail Category management experience is an asset.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent.
