Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and versatile Copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team at McKesson Corporation. This role is responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content across a variety of platforms to effectively communicate McKesson's value proposition and strategic initiatives to diverse audiences.



Job Responsibilities:



* Develop and write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, emails, social media, advertisements, brochures, white papers, case studies, and presentations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing managers, product teams, legal, and compliance, to understand project objectives, target audiences, and key messaging.
* Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and authenticity of content, adhering to brand guidelines, style guides, and industry regulations.
* Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic.
* Proofread and edit all written materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency.
* Participate in content strategy development and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and initiatives.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adapting to evolving priorities.
* Analyze content performance and iterate based on data and feedback.



Minimum Requirements:



* Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.


Skills and Qualifications:



* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience as a professional copywriter, preferably within a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or B2B corporate environment.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.
* Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging copy for various audiences.
* Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization.
* Strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples across different platforms and formats.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite, familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and project management tools is a plus.

McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation. Position Level - P2

We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $62,200 - $103,600
