Rx Savings Solutions, part of McKesson’s CoverMyMeds (CMM) organization, offers an innovative, patented software-as-a-service platform that educates and empowers our members to make the best healthcare choices at the lowest cost. Founded and operated by a team of pharmacists and software engineers, we support a collaborative, cost-saving solution for purchasing prescription drugs.

Rx Savings Solutions (RxSS) is looking to hire a Sr Finance Manager, Commercial FP&A to support our Commercial team (Sales and Client Success). Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, this role will lead product revenue financial planning, analysis and reporting for product revenue, and also provide pricing recommendations on contract renewals and new sales. This role will focus on identifying, quantifying, projecting, and communicating key business drivers to RxSS/CMM/McKesson leadership to ensure actionable steps are taken to drive financial performance.

Position Description:

  • Experience in Finance process transformation by driving and leading Financial product revenue financial planning and reporting. Responsibilities include reporting on the monthly sales pipeline, status of contract renewals to support the revenue forecast.

  • Lead monthly/quarterly/year end close process, by partnering with the Commercial team, accounting and CMM finance.

  • Support the Product, Marketing and Commercial RxSS LT on new product development, pricing and review of contract renewals and new sales.

  • Manage and lead annual budget and long-range plan process by partnering with business owners to create transparent, tactical plans to meet and exceed targets.

  • Partner with Sales and Compensation to develop/update annual Sales Comp Plans, track and report monthly on incentive comp by sales rep and review and approval of payouts.

  • Drive cross functional business partnerships for self and team to collaborate with business leads; ensure constant communications between the parties and provide value-add analysis to the business leaders. 

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with finance professionals across organization, including CMM Business Units, Controller and Pricing, to ensure communication of and action on significant events within the business.  Expand knowledge of CMM through this dialogue in order to make recommendations and share information across the business.

  • Collaborate with FP&A team members to provided additional analytics (customer and product level margin) around profitability reporting to enhance margin optimization.

  • Prepare and present various executive presentations in support of segment & finance leadership

  • Partner with A/R Manager to drive monthly billing, collections, and cash applications.  Closely monitor A/R to ensure timely collections and proper reserve levels. 

  • Complete ad-hoc and special projects as requested.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience (MBA preferred) and typically requires 10+ years of relative experience including budget and forecasting responsibilities

  • Possess ability and willingness to evaluate complex business problems, determine a solution and make effective and persuasive presentations to management.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – this position interfaces with senior executives on a regular basis

  • Experience with online reporting tools such as SAC, Hyperion, TM1 or similar application, and large ERP system experience

  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and managerial skills

  • Project Management experience is required with the ability to manage multiple projects, such as integration, and prioritize appropriately to meet competing deadlines.

  • Advanced Excel, proficient PowerPoint.

  • Strong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment.

  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of financial statements

  • Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$110,500 - $184,100
