Job Summary
The Sr. Change Management and Training Specialist will lead enterprise‑wide change, learning, and adoption initiatives that support McKesson Canada’s innovation and transformation agenda. They will design and deliver capability‑building experiences that enhance organizational readiness across key innovation, transformation, and analytics programs.
The role collaborates with business units, Innovation workstreams, Analytics teams, and HR/Organizational Effectiveness partners to drive adoption of new technologies, practices, and ways of working. Responsibilities may include planning events, creating educational materials, and developing online communities that strengthen innovation, change leadership, and organizational capability.
They are also expected to stay current on best practices in change management, innovation, digital transformation, and analytics—and effectively share this knowledge across the organization.
Specific Responsibilities
- Create and implement change management strategies that accelerate adoption, embed new behaviours, and ensure sustained outcomes across Innovation and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Lead the development and execution of communications supporting Innovation, change leadership, and transformation priorities, ensuring clarity, alignment, and audience‑appropriate messaging.
- Lead the development and implementation of engagement forums, leader touchpoints, and community‑building mechanisms that deepen organizational understanding of Innovation priorities and change impacts. Plan and coordinate enterprise‑wide change and innovation‑enablement activities to build engagement, foster knowledge sharing, and grow capabilities.
- Develop a learning and training strategy in partnership with Innovation, HR/Organizational Effectiveness, and business leaders to build innovation capabilities, change leadership strength, and adoption readiness.
- Responsible for strategizing and executing the delivery of learning and training activities, including designing learning pathways, coordinating leader‑led sessions, curating Innovation & Change resources, and delivering high‑impact training experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders of McKesson internal sites (e.g., SharePoint) to build and maintain innovation, change, and enablement resource hubs and digital learning assets.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders and teams across McKesson Canada to provide structured readiness support, leader enablement, and change plans tailored to their functions.
- Monitor and respond to questions across Innovation and change channels, ensuring timely support, clarity, and escalation where needed.
- Develop strategies to advance innovation and transformation maturity across the organization by strengthening skills, behaviours, and mindsets through targeted learning and engagement.
General Responsibilities
- Deliver professional internal/external presentations.
- Acts as the company’s primary resource in change leadership, innovation enablement, and capability‑building, providing leadership and direction on all related issues.
- Promotes cooperation across Innovation, Transformation, Analytics, HR, and business units and with other departments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science preferred, and at least 5‑7 years of experience in Data and Analytics innovation, change management, transformation, or analytics‑adjacent roles space in different capacities.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in similar role.
- Bilingual (English/French).
Key Competencies
- Expertise in Project Management and performance management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Lead and champion change at all levels (including senior leader enablement and coaching).
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of McKesson business is an asset.
- Knowledge of D&A best practices across value chain, D&A knowledge groups and vendors innovation practices, digital transformation, analytics‑enabled decision making, and enterprise change methodologies.
- Experience with supporting Learning, Change Management and Communication.
- Proven track record of leading or playing a key role in significant projects that have reshaped process and/or organizations processes, operating models, or organizational behaviours.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience leading matrixed teams.
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of Information Architecture, Data Modeling, Reporting and Analytical concept innovation frameworks, transformation roadmapping, change impact assessment, digital adoption tools, or analytics concepts is an asset.

- Diriger l’élaboration et l’exécution des communications soutenant les priorités d’innovation, de leadership en gestion du changement et de transformation, en assurant clarté, alignement et messages adaptés aux différentes audiences.
- Diriger la création et la mise en œuvre de forums d’engagement, de points de contact pour les leaders et de mécanismes de création de communauté visant à approfondir la compréhension organisationnelle des priorités d’innovation et des impacts du changement. Planifier et coordonner des activités d’habilitation au changement et à l'innovation à l’échelle de l’entreprise afin de renforcer l’engagement, favoriser le partage des connaissances et développer les capacités.
- Élaborer une stratégie d’apprentissage et de formation en partenariat avec les équipes Innovation, RH/Efficacité organisationnelle et les leaders d’affaires afin de développer les capacités d’innovation, la force du leadership en gestion du changement et la préparation à l’adoption.
