Position Summary 

TheSr. Analyst,Supply ChainPlanning Enablementsits within the Supply Chain Center of Excellence and serves as an analytical and process-oriented resource across theSupply Chain Planningorganization.Reporting to the Director of Supply ChainPlanning Enablement, this rolecombines planning systemsproficiencywith analytics, processenablement,and structured problem-solvingcapabilities to help the planning organizationoperateeffectivelythrough system implementation and into steady state operations

Key Responsibilities 

Analytics & DecisionSupport

  • Develop andmaintainplanning performance dashboards to support visibility into demand, supply, and inventory metrics.

  • Translate data outputs from Kinaxis into actionable insights that informtactical and strategic planning cadences.Apply structured problem-solving to planning challenges, diagnosing root causes, and building analytical solutions that address the underlying issue rather than just the symptom.

  • Leverage automation tools to streamline recurring analytical tasks, reducemanualeffort,and increasethe speed and reliability of planning insights.

Knowledge Management &Training Enablement

  • Build andmaintaininstitutionalknowledgeassets for the COE, including process documentation and SOPs

  • Support the development and delivery of training materials that help demand planners, supply planners, and buyers adopt new Kinaxis-enabled ways of working.

  • Identifygaps in process adoption across the planning organization and recommend targeted enablement interventions.

  • Support planning process and system transitions by assessing stakeholder readiness,facilitatingcommunication, and tracking adoption to ensure new ways of working take hold across the planning organization.

Process Enablement& Improvement

  • Partner with the Planning Enablement Director to supportstrategic planningby surfacing operational patterns and translating weekly planning insights into decision-ready inputs for strategic review cycles.

  • Identify inefficiencies and friction points across planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning,andinventorymanagement.

  • Partner with process owners and the Planning Enablement Director to design and implement improvements that increase planning effectiveness and reduce manual work.

Planning Systems Enablement & Evolution

  • Develop functionalproficiencyin Kinaxis Maestro, with the ability to navigate the system, interpret outputs, and support planning users in effective daily use.

  • Identifyopportunities toleverageAI-enabled tools and automation within planning processes, partnering with the System Enablement team to advance adoption.

  • Maintain awareness of the planning systems roadmap and ensure analytical work and process documentation stay aligned with evolving system capabilities.

  • Operate within established systems governance boundaries, escalating to the System Enablement team asappropriate.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.

Critical Skills 

  • 7+years in supply chainplanning,analytics,or process enablement roles.

  • Functionalproficiencyin Kinaxis Maestro or comparable advanced planning system.

  • Demonstrated experience applying Python or automation tools to streamline workflows. 

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.

  • Project leadership and execution in complex technical environments.

  • Translating planning data into clear, decision-ready insights for cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Driving innovation and process improvementacrosssupply chainprocesses.

  • Championing cross-functional collaboration and enterprise-first mindset.

  • Leading change andfosteringadoption of new technologies and processes.

Additional Skills 

  • Strong communication skills and ability totranslate planning data and process insights into clear recommendations.

  • Experiencedevelopingprocessdocumentation,SOPs, and training materials that drive adoption.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management teams. 

  • Change management orientation, with experience supporting organizations through system or process transitions. 

  • Familiar with continuous improvementmethodologysuch asSix Sigma.

Physical Requirements

  • Traditional office requirements.  A large percentage of time performing computer-based work is required.

  • Hybrid role, must live near Las Colinas office.

  • Up to 5% travel.

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$104,000 - $173,300
