Le/la analyste financier(ère) principal(e), FP&A corporatif soutient McKesson Canada en matière de planification financière, de prévisions, de production de rapports et d’analyse financière consolidée. Section A – Responsabilités spécifiques
- Agir à titre de contributeur(trice) clé en soutenant la fonction de planification et d’analyse financières (FP&A) pour l’unité d’affaires McKesson Canada, incluant la consolidation, les rapports financiers, le budget annuel, les prévisions mensuelles, les revues opérationnelles trimestrielles, la planification à long terme et les analyses financières ad hoc
- Agir comme conseiller(ère) financier(ère) de confiance et partenaire d’affaires stratégique pour McKesson Canada, avec la responsabilité des analyses financières consolidées et du soutien à la prise de décision
- Diriger le processus mensuel d’analyse des écarts, en assurant des explications exactes par rapport au plan, aux prévisions et aux résultats de l’année précédente
- Soutenir le/la gestionnaire principal(e), FP&A corporatif, dans l’avancement de la stratégie FP&A de McKesson Canada auprès des différents groupes
- Contribuer de façon autonome à des projets visant l’amélioration des processus de planification financière, incluant la mise en œuvre de systèmes et le développement de tableaux de bord Power BI
- Tirer parti des technologies émergentes pour automatiser et optimiser les flux de travail existants
Soutenir l’établissement de normes clés et d’indicateurs de performance afin de mesurer et de suivre efficacement la santé financière de McKesson Canada
- Fournir un soutien proactif et des analyses financières aux équipes des unités d’affaires et des finances corporatives, compte tenu de la complexité de l’entreprise et de la disponibilité des données
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe, selon les besoins
Section B – Exigences du poste
Le/la candidat(e) retenu(e) possédera les qualifications, compétences et attributs suivants :
- Baccalauréat en commerce avec une spécialisation en finance ou en comptabilité. Titre de CPA préferer. Un MBA avec une concentration en finance sera également considéré
- Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience en comptabilité et/ou en planification et analyse financières, idéalement au sein d’une organisation mondiale
- Capacité démontrée à mener des initiatives de façon autonome, avec un esprit entrepreneurial et une orientation axée sur les résultats
- Aptitude à cerner les enjeux, à prendre des décisions éclairées et à effectuer les escalades nécessaires avec des recommandations claires
- Mentalité axée sur l’amélioration des processus et le numérique, avec un intérêt marqué pour l’apprentissage de nouvelles technologies, outils et méthodes de travail
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique, avec un fort sens de l’urgence et un engagement envers le respect des échéanciers
- Excellentes compétences en communication, avec la capacité d’influencer et de collaborer efficacement à tous les niveaux de l’organisation
- Succès démontré dans l’établissement de relations solides et le travail collaboratif dans des environnements multidisciplinaires
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
- Maîtrise avancée d’Excel et de la suite MS Office; expérience avec SAP, BPC, Hyperion, Thinkcell, Power BI, Power Query et des outils d’IA considérée comme un atout

Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A supports McKesson Canada with financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and consolidated financial analysis. This role focuses on delivering decision-relevant insights for budgeting, long-range planning, and quarterly performance reviews, while supporting initiatives that enhance FP&A processes and systems. The position leverages advanced analytics, technology, and automation to improve efficiency and reporting quality. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong analytical judgment, a digital/process-improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business units in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Section A – Specific Responsibilities
•Serve as a key contributor, supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function for the McKesson Canada business unit, including consolidation, financial reporting, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, quarterly operating reviews, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial analysis
•Act as a trusted financial advisor and strategic business partner for McKesson Canada, with accountability for consolidated financial insights and decision support
•Lead the monthly variance analysis process, ensuring accurate explanations against plan, forecast, and prior-year performance
•Support Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A in advancing McKesson Canada FP&A strategy across different groups
•Independently contribute to projects aimed at improving financial planning processes, including system implementations and development of Power BI dashboards
•Leverage emerging technologies to automate and optimize existing workflows
• Support establishment of key standards and performance metrics to effectively measure and monitor the financial health of McKesson Canada
•Provide proactive support and financial analysis to business unit and corporate finance team given the complexity of the business and the data availability
•Other duties as assigned
Section B – Position Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following credentials, skills, and attributes:
•Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a major in Finance or Accounting. CPA designation preferred. An MBA with a Finance concentration will also be considered
•Minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting and/or financial planning and analysis, preferably within a global organization
•Proven ability to drive initiatives independently, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on delivering results
•Skilled in identifying issues, making sound decisions, and escalating with clear recommendations when necessary
•Process-improvement/Digital mindset with an interest in learning new technologies, tools and ways of working
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, maintaining a strong sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels
•Demonstrated success in building strong relationships and working collaboratively in cross-functional environments
•Bilingual (French and English)
•Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office; experience with SAP, BPC, Hyperion, Thinkcell, Power BI, Power Query, and AI tools considered an asset
•Strong attention to detail with advanced analytical skills
