Le ou la Analyste financier(ère) principal(e) se joindra à l’équipe de planification et d’analyse financières et jouera un rôle clé au sein du Groupe des bannières de détail de McKesson. Les principales responsabilités incluent les prévisions, la planification financière, la préparation du budget, le suivi de la performance de l’entreprise et la participation aux stratégies de développement des affaires. Ce rôle comprendra également un accent particulier sur des projets spéciaux.

Responsabilités – Planification et analyse financières (FP&A)

  • Au sein de l’équipe de FP&A, le candidat agira comme partenaire d’affaires pour le secteur des bannières de détail de McKesson Canada.
  • Soutenir le directeur principal et le gestionnaire principal, FP&A, en ce qui concerne la planification financière, les tableaux de bord financiers, les analyses comparatives concurrentielles et les présentations de gestion financière.
  • Préparer et présenter des rapports de gestion mensuels et ad hoc aux propriétaires d’entreprise concernés.
  • Participer activement aux activités mensuelles de prévisions du secteur de détail.
  • Soutenir et contribuer à l’exercice annuel de budgétisation et de planification à long terme.
  • Fournir un soutien proactif et des analyses d’affaires pour le secteur des bannières de détail, notamment en effectuant des analyses générales et personnalisées, en développant des indicateurs de performance clés à valeur ajoutée et en participant à la prise de décision stratégique.
  • Maintenir un niveau de communication approprié avec tous les niveaux de l’organisation et les différents secteurs d’activité.
  • Recommander des solutions ou alternatives appropriées lors du soutien à la direction dans la prise de décision.
  • Préparer et présenter les prévisions mensuelles de trésorerie et le plan à long terme pour le secteur des bannières de détail.
  • Aider les Opérations dans les demandes ad hoc de rentabilité et dans les projets spéciaux.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en commerce avec spécialisation en finance ou en comptabilité. Titre comptable CPA (CA, CGA, CMA) préféré.
  • Bilinguisme français et anglais (écrit et oral).
  • Minimum de 5 à 7 ans d’expérience en analyse financière / cabinet professionnel ou dans un rôle similaire.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
  • Penseur stratégique et proactif.
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et aptitudes en leadership.
  • Capacité à remettre en question le statu quo.
  • Capacité à gérer efficacement plusieurs analyses ou projets simultanément et à prioriser le travail.
  • Solide expérience analytique, à l’aise avec les exercices détaillés, organisé(e) et autonome.
  • Démonstration d’expertise en analyse d’affaires et en modélisation financière.
  • Attitude axée sur le client et approche orientée solutions.
  • Excellentes compétences informatiques, maîtrise de MS Excel et PowerPoint.
  • Expérience au sein d’une entreprise ou firme multinationale est un atout.
  • Connaissance des US GAAP est un atout.

The Senior Financial Analyst will join the Financial Planning, Analysis team and play a key role within the McKesson Retail Banner Group. The main areas of responsibilities include forecasting, financial planning, budget preparation, business performance tracking and involvement in business development strategies. This role will also include particular focus on special projects.

Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • As part of Financial Planning & Analysis team; the candidate will act as a business partner to the McKesson Canada Retail Banner Business

  • Support the Sr. Director and Sr. Manager, FP&A relating to the financial planning, financial dashboards, benchmark competitive analyses & financial management presentations
  • Prepare and present monthly and Ad Hoc management reports to the respective business owners
  • Actively involved in the monthly forecasting activities of the Retail Business
  • Support and help drive the annual budgeting and long range planning exercises
  • Provide pro-active support and business analytics to the Retail Banner business. Notably includes performing general and customized analyses, develop value added KPIs, involvement in supporting strategic decision making.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with all levels of the organization and across various business segments.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions or alternatives when supporting management in decision making.
  • Prepare and present monthly cashflow forecast and long range plan for the Retail Banner Business.
  • Assist Operations in Ad Hoc profitability requests and Special Projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance or Accounting. Accounting designation CPA (CA, CGA, CMA) prefered
  • Bilingual French and English (written and oral).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis / professional practice or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strategic & Pro-active thinker
  • Strong interpersonal skills & leadership abilities
  • Capable of challenging the status-quo.
  • Able to effectively manage multiple analyses/ projects in a timely manner and prioritize work.
  • Strong analytical background, comfortable with detailed exercises, organized and autonomous.
  • Demonstrates expertise in business analysis and financial modeling
  • A customer first attitude and approach to business solutions.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation or firm is an asset
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
