Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP Operational Excellence and Infrastructure,the NationalDirector of Infrastructure and MaterialHandlingEquipmentis responsible foroverseeing theimplementation of businessstrategicplan, development, and management of the company’s infrastructure and material equipmentincluding maintenancemanagement. Thisrepresents12 DCs across Canada. This role is critical to ensurethat all physical and technological assets are aligned with the company’s long-term goals and operational needs. The Director will lead a team of senior professionals, outsidecontractorsand work closely with other departments to support the growth and efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
StrategicSupport:
Implement long-term strategies for infrastructure and materialhandlingequipment management.
As COE, align infrastructureinitiativeswith businessstrategies,objectivesand operational needs.
Key player in BCP and disaster recovery plans.
Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure and equipment professionals.
Cultivate a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance within the team.
Cross Functional Leadership – Provide guidance and leadership to the team and to other areas of the organization that interact with Infrastructure and Material Equipment (Operations, Project Management, IT, etc.) to achieve the enterprise goals
Proven leadership, changemanagementand project management experience.
Innovation:
Identify, promote, and drive innovation to achieve significant improvements in key business metrics (i.eSafety, Compliance,Productivityand customer experience).
Address change management throughout the process to support successful adoption.
Operations Management:
Oversee the maintenance programs, upgrade, and deployment of infrastructure and material equipment all within health and safety guidelines. Monitor through the CMSS system
Play the COE role for national supplies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and manage the budget for the infrastructure and equipmentat national level.
Project Management:
Lead infrastructure projects from conception through implementation, ensuringtimelyandwithin-budgetdelivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives.
NationalVendor Management:
Establish andmaintainrelationships with key vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure the best value for the company.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Develop KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of automation initiatives.
Regularly report on the performance and impact of infrastructure and MHE projects to senior leadership.
Risk Management:
Identifypotential risks related to infrastructure and equipment and develop mitigationplans.
Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company’s infrastructure and equipment at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, ora relatedfield. A master’s degree or relevantcertifications(e.g.,PMP,)is preferred.
Minimum of 12years of experience in infrastructure and equipment management, with at least4years in a national or regional leadership role managing multiple projects with many differentstakeholders.
Proventrack recordof managing large-scale infrastructure projects and teams.
Implementing projects and solutions in a highly regulatedenvironmentanasset.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, material equipment management and health and safety standards.
Proficient in project management methodologies.
English and French (mandatory) written and spoken
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Travel across Canadarequired,upto 40% of the time depending onbusiness needs.

Mettre en œuvre des stratégies à long terme pour la gestion de l’infrastructure et des équipements matériels.

Leadership :
Diriger, encadrer et gérer une équipe de professionnels de l’infrastructure et des équipements.
Favoriser une culture d’innovation, d’amélioration continue et de haute performance au sein de l’équipe.
Leadership transversal – Fournir des conseils et un leadership à l’équipe et aux autres secteurs de l’organisation qui interagissent avec l’infrastructure et les équipements matériels (Opérations, Gestion de projets, TI, etc.) pour atteindre les objectifs de l’entreprise.
Expérience avérée en leadership, gestion du changement et gestion de projets.
Innovation :
Identifier, promouvoir et stimuler l’innovation afin d’obtenir des améliorations significatives des indicateurs clés de performance (p. ex. : sécurité, conformité, productivité et expérience client).
Gérerle changement tout au long du processus pour favoriser une adoption réussie.
Gestion des opérations :
Superviser les programmes de maintenance, la mise à niveau et le déploiement de l’infrastructure et des équipements matériels, le tout dans le respect des normes de santé et sécurité.
Suivi via le système CMSS. Assumer le rôle de COE pour les fournitures nationales..
Assurer la conformité aux normes industrielles et réglementaires.
Élaborer et gérer le budget du département infrastructure et équipements au niveau national .
Gestion de projets :
Diriger les projets d’infrastructure de la conception à la mise en œuvre, en veillant à leur livraison dans les délais et le respect du budget.
Coordonner avec des équipes transversales pour soutenir divers projets et initiatives.
Gestion desfournisseurs :
Établir et maintenir des relations avec les fournisseurs clés.
Négocier les contrats et gérer la performance des fournisseurs pour garantir la meilleure valeur pour l’entreprise.
Suivi et rapports de performance :
Développer des indicateurs (KPIs) et des métriques pour évaluer l’efficacité des initiatives d’automatisation.
Rapporter régulièrement la performance et l’impact des projets d’infrastructure et d’équipements à la haute direction.
Gestion des risques :
Identifier lesrisques potentielsliés à l’infrastructure et aux équipements et développer des stratégies d’atténuation.
Garantir des plans robustes de reprise après sinistre et de continuité des activités.
Amélioration continue :
Mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques et des initiatives d’amélioration continue pour accroître l’efficacité et la performance de l’infrastructure.
Se tenir informé des tendances du secteur et des technologies émergentes pour maintenir l’infrastructure et les équipements de l’entreprise à la pointe de l’innovation.
Qualifications :
Baccalauréat en ingénierie, administration des affaires ou domaine connexe.Une maîtrise ou des certifications pertinentes (ex. PMP) est préférable.
Minimum de 12ans d’expérience en gestion d’infrastructure et d’équipements, dont au moins4ans dans un rôle de direction national ou régional gérant plusieurs projets avec de nombreux intervenants.
Expérience avérée dans la gestion de projets d’infrastructure à grande échelle et d’équipes. Mise en œuvre de projets et solutions dans un environnement fortement réglementé (atout).
Solides compétences en leadership et gestion d’équipe.
Excellentes aptitudes en planification stratégique et résolution de problèmes.
Bonne compréhension des technologies d’infrastructure, de la gestion des équipements matériels et des normes de santé et sécurité.
