Directeur des opérations des systèmes financiers – Analyse, joue un rôle stratégique au cœur de la transformation numérique de la fonction Finance et de l’évolution des plateformes analytiques de McKesson Canada. Il ou elle est responsable de l’intégration opérationnelle des initiatives analytiques corporatives, du soutien à la gouvernance des données financières ainsi que de la performance des solutions analytiques et financières existantes. En contribuant activement aux projets numériques et en collaborant avec des équipes multidisciplinaires, la personne titulaire du poste agit à titre d’architecte opérationnel, de leader d’influence et de décideur clé pour les initiatives d’analytique financière relevant du mandat de l’équipe. Ce rôle requiert une vision globale, une forte capacité à évoluer dans des environnements complexes et une aptitude démontrée à orchestrer la collaboration entre les équipes Finance, TI et les unités d’affaires. L’objectif ultime : maximiser la valeur stratégique et opérationnelle des solutions analytiques et des systèmes financiers de l’organisation.
Responsabilités principales
Vision stratégique, orientation et gouvernance
- Développer et communiquer une vision stratégique claire pour l’exploitation des systèmes financiers, alignée sur les objectifs corporatifs.
- Définir et faire évoluer en continu la feuille de route sur 1 à 3 ans des initiatives analytiques, financières et de données.
- Structurer et renforcer la gouvernance des données financières, incluant les normes, la qualité des données, la sécurité et les droits d’accès.
- Évaluer les besoins futurs de l’organisation et orienter les investissements technologiques, analytiques et organisationnels.
Leadership transformationnel et influence organisationnelle
- Inspirer, mobiliser et aligner les équipes transversales (Finance, TI, unités d’affaires) autour d’objectifs communs.
- Agir à titre de référence en matière de transformation financière, d’architecture de données et d’évolution des processus.
- Influencer la haute direction (vice‑présidences, cadres exécutifs) par des analyses rigoureuses, une vision stratégique claire et une communication percutante.
- Représenter l’organisation au sein de comités inter‑unités, de projets corporatifs et d’initiatives transformatrices.
Pilotage des initiatives financières majeures
- Superviser la priorisation et l’exécution des programmes clés d’analytique financière (ex. : Data Lake, couche augmentée, systèmes de planification, systèmes de rentabilité).
- Assurer la qualité, la cohérence et la résilience des solutions financières déployées dans l’organisation.
- Superviser la conception des solutions de bout en bout en collaboration avec les analystes et architectes.
- Veiller à l’alignement fonctionnel et technique des flux de données opérationnelles, financières et analytiques.
Gestion de la performance, des risques et de la valeur
- Développer des indicateurs de performance (KPI) pour mesurer l’efficacité des systèmes financiers et de l’écosystème analytique.
- Anticiper les risques opérationnels, techniques et organisationnels, et mettre en place des stratégies d’atténuation.
- Promouvoir l’amélioration continue et instaurer une culture de rigueur, d’innovation et d’excellence opérationnelle.
Leadership d’équipe
- Diriger une équipe multidisciplinaire, directe et indirecte.
- Développer les talents, soutenir la croissance des experts fonctionnels et renforcer les capacités de l’équipe.
- Favoriser une culture de collaboration, d’apprentissage et de responsabilisation.
- Gérer l’allocation des ressources, la capacité et la charge de travail en fonction des priorités d’affaires.
Exigences
- Baccalauréat en systèmes d’information de gestion, en comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe (CPA souhaité).
- Minimum de 15 ans d’expérience professionnelle, dont plus de 6 ans dans des rôles de leadership en systèmes financiers, transformation ou analytique.
- Expérience solide dans des environnements financiers et analytiques complexes.
- Capacité démontrée à influencer des leaders seniors et à piloter des initiatives stratégiques.
- Excellente compréhension des pratiques de gouvernance des données, de gestion de la performance et de transformation financière.
- Connaissance des principales technologies d’analytique financière utilisées dans les grandes organisations, notamment :
- Outils BI / analytiques : Power BI, SAP SAC, SAP BW
- Plateformes FP&A : SAP SAC, SAP PaPM
- Environnements de données modernes : Databricks, Datasphere, Snowflake
- Gouvernance et qualité des données : Alation
- Connaissance des principales technologies transactionnelles financières alimentant les plateformes analytiques, notamment :

Director, Financial Systems Operations – Analytics
Job Description
The Director, Financial Systems Operations plays a strategic role at the heart of Finance’s digital transformation and the evolution of McKesson Canada’s analytical platforms. They are responsible for the operational integration of corporate analytics initiatives, support the governance of financial data, and the performance of existing analytical and financial solutions.
By contributing actively to digital projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, the incumbent acts as an operational architect, an influential leader, and a key decision‑maker for financial analytics initiatives within the team’s mandate.
This role requires a holistic vision, strong ability to navigate complexity, and a proven capability to orchestrate collaboration among Finance, IT, and business units. The ultimate objective: maximize the strategic and operational value of the organization’s analytical solutions and financial systems.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Vision, Direction, and Governance
- Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for financial systems operations aligned with corporate objectives.
- Define and continuously evolve the 1–3‑year roadmap for analytics, financial, and data initiatives.
- Structure and strengthen governance for financial data, including standards, data quality, security, and access rights.
- Assess future organizational needs and guide technological, analytical, and organizational investments.
Transformational Leadership and Organizational Influence
- Inspire, mobilize, and align cross‑functional teams (Finance, IT, Business Units) around shared objectives.
- Serve as an authoritative voice on financial transformation, data architecture, and process evolution.
- Influence senior leadership (VPs, executives) through strong analysis, strategic insight, and compelling communication.
- Represent the organization in inter‑unit committees, corporate projects, and transformative initiatives.
Leadership of Major Financial Initiatives
- Oversee the prioritization and execution of key financial analytics programs (e.g., Data Lake, augmented layer, planning systems, profitability systems).
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and resilience of financial solutions deployed within the organization.
- Oversee end‑to‑end solution design in collaboration with analysts and architects.
- Ensure functional and technical alignment across operational, financial, and analytical data flows.
Performance, Risk, and Value Management
- Develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of financial systems and the broader analytics ecosystem.
- Anticipate operational, technical, and organizational risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Promote continuous improvement and instill a culture of rigour, innovation, and operational excellence.
Team Leadership
- Lead a direct and indirect multidisciplinary team.
- Develop talent, support the growth of functional experts, and strengthen team capabilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and accountability.
- Manage resource allocation, team capacity, and workload in line with business priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 15 years of professional experience, including 6+ years in leadership roles in financial systems, transformation, or analytics.
- Strong experience in complex financial and analytical environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of data governance, performance management, and financial transformation practices.
- Knowledge of major financial analytics technologies used in large enterprises, including:
- BI / Analytics Tools: Power BI, SAP SAC, SAP BW
- FP&A Platforms: SAP SAC, SAP PaPM
- Modern Data Environments: Databricks, Datasphere, Snowflake
- Data Governance & Quality: Alation
- Knowledge of major financial transactional technologies that feed analytics platforms, including:
- SAP ecosystem (SAP FI/CO, SAP COPA, SAP PS, SAP SD, SAP S/4HANA, etc.)
- Excellent communication, political acumen, leadership, and strong ability to operate in ambiguity.
The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States.
