Le Spécialiste bilingue en remboursement joue un rôle essentiel dans le soutien aux patients inscrits aux programmes de soutien aux patients de McKesson Specialty. Cette personne est responsable de la coordination du remboursement et de l’accès aux traitements en collaborant étroitement avec les patients, les assureurs, les pharmacies, les médecins et d’autres professionnels de la santé.

Vos responsabilités
- Inscrire les patients aux programmes de soutien aux patients de façon rapide et précise
- Gérer les dossiers de remboursement de la réception initiale jusqu’à l’accès au traitement
- Assurer le suivi proactif des dossiers patients afin que les renouvellements et la couverture continue soient traités dans les délais requis
- Communiquer avec les patients, les assureurs (publics et privés) et les médecins prescripteurs afin d’obtenir la documentation nécessaire au remboursement
- Effectuer des évaluations financières pour déterminer l’admissibilité des patients aux programmes d’aide
- Explorer les options de couverture et procéder aux escalades auprès des employeurs ou des payeurs, au besoin
- Collaborer avec les pharmacies spécialisées et de détail afin d’assurer un accès rapide aux médicaments
- Agir à titre de personne‑ressource principale pour les patients et les professionnels de la santé concernant les questions liées au remboursement et aux programmes
- Traiter et gérer la documentation de soutien, y compris les résultats de laboratoire, les rapports de perfusion et les dossiers de quotes‑parts
- Recevoir, documenter et déclarer les événements indésirables conformément aux exigences des fabricants pharmaceutiques et aux lignes directrices des programmes
- Répondre aux demandes entrantes et sortantes des patients et des parties prenantes par téléphone, courriel et télécopieur
- Maintenir les niveaux de service établis, incluant les délais de réponse, les délais de traitement des dossiers et les exigences en matière de rapports
- Effectuer une saisie de données précise et maintenir à jour les dossiers patients dans les systèmes internes
Exigences de base
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente dans un environnement de soins de santé, pharmaceutique, d’assurance ou de soutien aux patients
- Bilinguisme français‑anglais (à l’oral et à l’écrit) — obligatoire
Compétences et expérience privilégiées
- Expérience au sein de programmes de soutien aux patients, en pharmacie spécialisée ou en remboursement pharmaceutique
- Expérience préalable avec les assureurs publics et privés au Canada
- Excellentes aptitudes en service à la clientèle et en gestion de dossiers
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement de centre de contact ou à volume élevé
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) et des systèmes de gestion de cas
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et grand souci du détail
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités tout en faisant preuve d’empathie et de professionnalisme
Environnement et horaires de travail
- Ce poste s’exerce dans un environnement de centre de contact
- Les heures d’ouverture sont du lundi au vendredi, entre 8 h et 20 h, avec une flexibilité pour travailler selon des horaires rotatifs ou variables

About the Role
The Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist plays a critical role in supporting patients enrolled in McKesson Specialty patient support programs. This individual is responsible for coordinating reimbursement and access to treatment by working closely with patients, insurers, pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will manage patient cases end‑to‑end, support insurance coverage investigations, facilitate financial assistance, and ensure timely access to prescribed therapies. You’ll thrive if you enjoy working in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment where accuracy, communication, and advocacy matter.
What You’ll Do
- Enroll patients into patient support programs in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage reimbursement cases from intake through treatment access
- Proactively monitor patient files to ensure renewals and ongoing coverage are completed on time
- Liaise with patients, insurers (public and private), and prescribing physicians to obtain required documentation for reimbursement
- Conduct financial assessments to determine patient eligibility for assistance programs
- Explore coverage options and escalate to employers or payers when required
- Coordinate with specialty and retail pharmacies to ensure timely access to medication
- Serve as a key point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals regarding reimbursement and program‑related inquiries
- Process and manage supporting documentation, including lab results, infusion reports, and copay records
- Receive, document, and report adverse events in accordance with pharmaceutical manufacturer requirements and program guidelines
- Respond to inbound and outbound patient and stakeholder inquiries via phone, email, and fax
- Maintain service‑level expectations, including response times, case turnaround, and reporting requirements
- Complete accurate data entry and maintain patient records in internal systems
Basic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, or patient support environment.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) – required
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in patient support programs, specialty pharmacy, or pharmaceutical reimbursement
- Prior experience working with public and private insurers in Canada
- Strong customer service and case management skills
- Ability to work in a contact‑centre or high‑volume environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and case management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining empathy and professionalism
Work Environment & Schedule
- This role operates in a contact‑centre environment.
- Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., with flexibility to work rotating or varied shifts.
- No travel or physical lifting requirements.
