Résumé du poste
L’Associé principal(e), analyste de données – Contrôle des stocks et conformité opérationnelle joue un rôle clé dans l’exactitude des inventaires, l’efficacité opérationnelle et le respect des normes du site dans notre installation de Montréal. Ce poste soutient à la fois les équipes du Contrôle des inventaires et des Opérations en fournissant des analyses de données de haute qualité, des informations pertinentes et des rapports permettant de guider la prise de décision sur le plancher comme dans la planification stratégique.
Évoluant dans un centre de distribution à haut volume et partiellement automatisé, l’analyste enquête sur les écarts, identifie les lacunes de performance et développe des outils qui améliorent l’intégrité de l’inventaire, la productivité et la conformité opérationnelle. Ce rôle convient parfaitement à une personne qui aime travailler avec les données dans un environnement opérationnel dynamique et qui peut influencer les résultats grâce à une collaboration étroite avec les équipes du plancher.
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, l’analyste doit être à l’aise autant dans l’analyse de données que dans la réalisation d’audits pratiques sur le plancher afin d’assurer l’alignement entre les données, les observations opérationnelles et les commentaires du terrain.
Responsabilités principales
Enquêter sur les écarts d’inventaire en combinant analyses de données et audits sur le plancher; effectuer des analyses de causes fondamentales et recommander des actions correctives.
Analyser l’efficacité opérationnelle, l’exactitude de l’inventaire et la performance du site; maintenir les indicateurs clés liés à la productivité et à l’intégrité des inventaires.
Passer du temps sur le plancher pour valider l’exactitude des données, observer les processus, confirmer les commentaires opérationnels et assurer que les rapports reflètent la réalité.
Soutenir les programmes de conformité opérationnelle en identifiant les écarts d’adhésion aux processus et aux normes.
Créer, mettre à jour et maintenir des tableaux de bord, visualisations et rapports automatisés pour appuyer le suivi opérationnel.
Fournir des analyses et des recommandations exploitables aux superviseurs, gestionnaires et partenaires interfonctionnels.
Suivre et analyser les dommages, les shorts, les ajustements d’inventaire, la productivité (LPPH) et autres indicateurs clés pour offrir des recommandations.
Appuyer les initiatives stratégiques : optimisation du slotting, consolidation, efficacité du réapprovisionnement, utilisation de l’espace et planification des capacités.
Créer et déployer des audits opérationnels pour évaluer l’exécution des processus et identifier les opportunités d’amélioration.
Collaborer avec les équipes d’automatisation, des opérations, de la qualité et du contrôle des inventaires pour soutenir l’amélioration continue.
Qualifications minimales
Baccalauréat en science des données ou en analytique d’affaires (préféré).
Baccalauréat en chaîne d’approvisionnement, opérations ou génie (atout).
2 à 4 ans d’expérience en analyse de données ou analytique de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
Expérience en opérations, distribution ou contrôle des inventaires (atout).
Excellentes communications parlées et écrites en français et en anglais.
Compétences techniques
Maîtrise avancée d’Excel, incluant VBA
SQL pour les requêtes et l’extraction de données
Power BI pour la visualisation et les tableaux de bord
Expérience avec des systèmes WMS
Solides compétences en modélisation de données et résolution analytique de problèmes
Tableaux de bord automatisés Ocado (atouts)
Microsoft Copilot / outils d’analyse assistée par IA (atouts)
Connaissance de SAP, AS/400 ou d’autres systèmes d’entrepôt (atouts).

Position Summary
The Data Analyst, Inventory Control & Operational Compliance plays a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and adherence to site standards at our Montréal facility. This position supports both Inventory Control and Operations leadership by delivering high quality data analysis, insights, and reporting that drive informed decision making on the warehouse floor and in strategic planning. Working in a large volume, partially automated distribution centre, the analyst investigates discrepancies, identifies performance gaps, and builds tools that enhance inventory integrity, productivity, and process compliance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data in a fast-paced operations environment and who can influence results through strong collaboration with warehouse teams.
To be successful in this position, the analyst must be equally comfortable analyzing data and conducting hands on audits on the warehouse floor to ensure that data, operational behaviors, and anecdotal feedback align.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate inventory discrepancies by conducting both data analysis and on floor operational audits, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
Analyze operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and site performance; maintain key KPIs related to inventory integrity and productivity.
Spend meaningful time on the warehouse floor to validate data accuracy, observe processes, verify anecdotal reports, and ensure dashboards reflect operational reality.
Support site operational compliance programs by identifying process adherence gaps and performance variances.
Build, update, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and automated reporting tools that support day to day operational monitoring.
Provide actionable insights to supervisors, managers, and cross functional partners to support data driven decision making.
Track and monitor warehouse damages, shorts, adjustments, productivity (LPPH), and other operational indicators.
Support inventory strategy initiatives such as slotting optimization, consolidation, replenishment efficiency, space utilization, and capacity planning.
Create and deploy operational audits to evaluate process execution and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with teams including automation, operations, quality, and inventory control to support continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data science or business Analytics (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering (nice to have).
2–4 years of experience in data analysis or supply chain analytics.
Experience in operations, distribution, or inventory control is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel skills, including VBA
SQL for querying and data extraction
Power BI for dashboards and visualization
Experience with WMS platforms
Strong data modelling and analytical problem-solving skills
Ocado automation dashboards
Microsoft Copilot / AI assisted analysis tools
Soft Skills
High attention to detail and analytical rigor
Strong communication skills with warehouse and operations teams
Comfort working both in an office environment and directly on the warehouse floor
Ability to validate data with real operational behaviors and firsthand observations

APICS / CPIM certification

Experience with automated/robotic warehouse environments
Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated distribution environment
Experience in warehouse productivity analysis or space/capacity analysis.
