Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to work on-site at least 2 days per week at our office in Mississauga. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Strategy & Insights Analyst will support and lead several pivotal strategic engagements at McKesson Canada, including, but not limited to:

Qualitative and quantitative research:

  • Market landscape, trends, and dynamics

  • Consumer preferences, prices, marketing preferences, and distribution patterns

  • Competitive intelligence, strategies, and threats

Data-gathering and analysis:

  • Measurement of outcomes and effectiveness of programs and strategies

  • Monitoring and forecasting of sales and marketing trends

Insight communication and recommendations:

  • Clearly articulated reports and presentations

  • Simple and reader-friendly charts, graphs, and visual aids

Critical Skills & Attributes:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, including but not limited to, statistics, business, market research, etc.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of prior experience in fields related to market research and data analytics.

Required Skills:

Analytical thinking

  • Detail-oriented approach to qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior

  • Ability to gather, clean, analyze and interpret large volumes of data

Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Strong communication skills

  • Ability to communicate across written and verbal formats

  • Ability to simplify complex information into a reader-friendly format

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills

  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills

  • Basic understanding of databases and statistical packages
