The Program Manager will be responsible for understanding and managing the generics program for Community Pharmacy retail customers.  The Program Manager will serve as a functional expert in retail community pharmacy and Buying Group operations, administration, analytics, and generic compliance management.  The Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to enhance processes in order to track, analyze, and communicate Gx Programs and formulary changes to optimize customer experience with excellence in communication and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate (written and/or verbal) subject matter expertise on generic products, programs & pricing with Buying Group customers.

  • Develop customer facing presentations to support our CP&H field sales team to expand McKesson’s footprint with Community Pharmacy customers.

  • Manage the compilation, analysis, and reporting of data to forecast trends and support management of all aspects of the program, applying mathematical models and statistical techniques, to support Community Pharmacy customer growth and program functionality.

  • Analyze customer purchasing trends to provide key insights to internal teams that can generate opportunities and mitigate risks within the segment.

  • Utilize Excel to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modeling, and economic forecasting.

  • Identify gaps and work closely with cross functional teams to implement process improvements.

  • Build customer strategy aligned with PSaS strategy based on acquiring insightful knowledge of CP&H customers and their business needs.

  • Build and strengthen cross functional relationships with internal partners to ensure best in class service to Community Pharmacy & Health customers.

  • UtilizeArtificial Intelligence (AI) to streamlineefficiency.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in business required.

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years of program management experience.

  • 4+ years of operations, inventory management, distributionor sourcing experience.

  • Strong communication skills, especially in the area of verbal/written communication with customers.

  • Strong project management skills with a focus on data analysis.

  • Strong analytical capabilities. Excel spreadsheet skills and spreadsheet analysis techniques.

  • Exceptional business acumen/aptitude.

  • Excellent financial analysis and P&L interpretation skills.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$96,100 - $160,100
