Position Description

McKesson is seeking a Slotting Senior Manager to manage a team of analysts tasked with supporting corporate and field leadership in slotting new warehouses while building out capabilities to maintain slotting in existing warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of operations analysts
• Develop models to identify trends and support senior management in analyzing operational efficiency, meeting key targets, maximizing business opportunities, and evaluating operational change programs
• Work closely with corporate and field leadership to establish and maintain slotting principles in all warehouses and build out processes to improve efficiency through slotting in existing warehouses
• Ensures standards are being followed to maintain data integrity and ongoing quality control of source data and delivered reports through use of standard operating procedures and end user documentation
• 25-50% travel to support warehouse setup and issue resolution for new warehouses
• Build out usage and expertise with OptiSlot software to model and slot new warehouses

Critical Skills

• Strong MS Excel skills
• Experience with SQL, data extraction methodologies, relational and dimensional databases methods

• Experienced with data visualization technologies like Tableau and Power BI
• Strong technical and analytical skills including the making and explaining data driven decisions
• Strong report presentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Influencing stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years experience in warehouse operations
• 5+ years experience in analytics or data related fields
• 2+ years experience as a manager or equivalent leadership experience

Education
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional 
experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
