The Associate Product Lifecycle Manager will help support the current McKesson Brands’ product portfolio across a number of different categories. This role will manage multiple product lifecycle projects at the same time; projects will encompass regular, product maintenance projects as well as one-off projects that surface based on industry and regulatory dynamics and changing business needs. Working closely with cross-functional team members, the Associate Product Lifecycle Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and with full accuracy. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative healthcare products that directly impact patient care and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Projects Leadership: Spearhead product lifecycle projects from inception to completion across multiple product categories. Ensure appropriate prioritization and strategic alignment with McKesson Brands’ objectives and timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Identify and engage the appropriate team members across departments (e.g., product development, sourcing, category management, legal, quality assurance, marketing, and supply chain) to effectively address project needs and resolve challenges.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communication. Facilitate effective information flow among team members and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and feedback.
  • Project Management: Utilize strong organizational skills to keep projects on track, identifying potential roadblocks and proactively pulling in the right resources to deliver solutions.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, progress reports, and meeting notes. Utilize data to support decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Critical Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in product management, category management or project management, preferably within the healthcare or medical product industry.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and juggle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proactive and inquisitive mindset with a passion for driving product excellence.
  • Understanding of healthcare market and the competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with medical products and regulatory requirements is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$68,400 - $114,000
