Rx Savings Solutions, part of McKesson's CoverMyMeds business segment, offers an innovative, patented software system that educates and empowers consumers to make the best healthcare choices at the lowest cost. Founded and operated by a team of pharmacists and software engineers, we support a collaborative, cost-saving solution for purchasing prescription drugs.

We are looking for a talented, success-minded Pharmacy Technician to join our call-center team that helps our members take control of their prescription costs. If you have retail pharmacy experience and exceptional customer service skills, you can help us make a difference in people’s lives. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits located in Overland Park, Kansas

Our Pharmacy Technicians answer questions from how to lower out-of-pocket cost on prescription medications to providing directions on how to transfer prescriptions between retail pharmacies. Using their skills as a retail pharmacy technician, they spend most of your time providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers by educating our members with how they can better navigate the pharmacy world to lower their prescription cost via inbound and outbound calls. Outbound calls will be made to existing customers simply to provide them with more detailed information about our products and services. This position requires you to be stationed at a desk and on the phone 90% of the time. The remaining 10% will be for trainings, meetings, and other duties.

** This role is office-based at our corporate headquarters office at 435 & Nall and requires working on-site. This is a 40-hour-per-week position that works Monday through Friday (no weekends!) During your first training week, you'll work on-site Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During Week 2 through your first 90days, you'll work on-site Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. After 90 days, you'll settle into your standard working shift of Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and we offer an optional hybrid work schedule that alternates one week in office, one week from home.

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls from Company members/customers

  • Assist members with directions to identify and realize savings opportunities highlighted by the Company software system

  • Assist members on all issues related to processing of pharmacy claims

  • Coordinates internal resolution of customer issues

  • Make outbound calls to members who request service via the Rx Savings Solutions online portal

  • Make outbound calls to members through an auto dialer

  • Assist with research projects relating to pharmacy pricing 

  • Educates members on benefits of Rx Savings Solutions services

  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management

Required Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher is required

  • PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (must gain within 6 months of employment)

Required Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of relative experience including pharmacy experinece in a retail setting, and customer service or call center experience

  • 5+ years of pharmacy experience in a retail setting

  • Communicate in a professional manner with our members and colleagues

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve

  • Demonstrate ability to work with confidential information and in a deadline driven environment

  • Ability to effectively navigating a computer

  • Working knowledge of Outlook and Excel (if no experience but willing to learn, we’ll be happy to teach you)

  • Availability to work during the hours of operations based on current member needs: Monday through Friday 7 am to 8 pm (no weekends!!!)

$17.33 - $28.89
