The Manager of Strategic Accounts Performance Management is responsible for driving customer performance improvements through rigorous performance audits, economic research, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual contributor role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with pricing contractual agreements and delivering actionable insights to key business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pricing strategy, analytics, and stakeholder engagement within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Operations

  • Conduct weekly and monthly customer performance audits to ensure compliance with pricing agreements.
  • Collaborate with Pricing Strategic Accounts, Deal Pricing, Professional Advisory & Services, and Financial Systems teams to align pricing strategies with customer needs and profitability goals.
  • Perform economic research and item-level reviews, sharing insights with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and serve as a key contact for internal pricing inquiries, occasionally engaging directly with customers.
  • Monitor pricing trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to generate forecasts and identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to improve pricing efficiency and accuracy through process improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and analytics that provide performance insights and support strategic decision-making.

Coaching and Mentoring

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by identifying training opportunities aligned with individual and team goals.
  • Guide team members through complex pricing scenarios and economic research methodologies to enhance problem-solving skills.
  • Support professional development by helping team members set and achieve growth objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Sales, FP&A, Distribution Operations, and other internal teams to develop integrated pricing solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of pricing initiatives with finance, sales, and supply chain strategies.
  • Collaborate with BI/Analytics teams to build dashboards that inform pricing decisions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the sales team to understand market dynamics and address customer concerns.
  • Support contract execution by working with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Assist in resolving contractual issues in coordination with legal and compliance stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with a focus on pricing strategy.

Critical Skills

  • Deep understanding of retail pharmacy segment and drug pricing dynamics, including regulatory and reimbursement environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and handling large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Power BI (including DAX and Power Query)
  • SQL
  • Experience with dashboard development and data visualization tools

Salary:100,100.00 - 133,400.00 - 166,800.00 USD Annual 15% MIP

(Target 130K with 15% MIP)
