1. About the Role

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for automation, robotics, and customer service? Do you thrive on the road, love working with cutting-edge technology, and enjoy making a real impact? JoinMcKesson Canadaas aField Service Technician (FST)and become the face of innovation and reliability for our clients across the country!

In this dynamic, travel-heavy role, you’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced systems and equipment—both hardware and software—at customer sites. You’ll be the go-to expert, ensuring our clients’ operations run smoothly and efficiently. Travel required: 75–80% | On-call rotation | After-hours & weekend work required | International travel may be required

Target Salary: 85K-100K based on individual experience

NO RELOCATION IS PROVIDED FOR THIS ROLE.

MUST BE LOCATED IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS (preference is to be within 50 miles of largest airport for that state)

WFH, NV (Las Vegas area preferred)

WFH, IL (Chicagoland area preferred)

WFH, UT (Salt Lake City are preferred)

WFH, NJ (Tri - State nearest all major NY airports)

2. What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary service representative for assigned customers.
  • Perform installations, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on-site.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with pneumatic, robotic, and electronic control systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe—on the road and at customer sites.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours service needs.
  • Support logistics by delivering packages to courier depots or airports when needed.
  • Assist with commercial showcase setups and support the sales team with technical insights.
  • Uphold McKesson’sILEADandICAREprinciples in every customer interaction.
  • Complete all required training and administrative documentation on time.

3. What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

  • 2+ yearsof relevant field service experience.
  • Strong background inpneumatics, robotics, and electronic systems.
  • Excellent driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Team player who collaborates well across departments to resolve issues.
  • Physically able to lift up to30kgand work in cabinetry or elevated spaces.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally

4. Specialized Knowledge & Skills (Preferred)

  • College diploma inElectronics, Robotics, or Electro-mechanics.
  • 5+ yearsof experience in a Field Service Technician role.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in field-based technical support is a strong asset.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$67,100 - $111,800
