McKesson is an impact-driven, Fortune 10 company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. We are known for delivering insights, products, and services that make quality care more accessible and affordable. Here, we focus on the health, happiness, and well-being of you and those we serve – we care.

What you do at McKesson matters. We foster a culture where you can grow, make an impact, and are empowered to bring new ideas. Together, we thrive as we shape the future of health for patients, our communities, and our people. If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.

Position Summary:

The Senior BI Analyst, Responsible AI is the analytics backbone of the enterprise’s AI governance program. This role designs, builds, and maintains the dashboards, scorecards, and reporting infrastructure that give leadership, compliance teams, and model owners real-time visibility into the health, fairness, risk posture, and regulatory compliance of the enterprise’s AI portfolio. You translate complex model metrics, bias scores, drift rates, explainability indices, incident trends, into clear, actionable visualizations that drive governance decisions from the boardroom to the sprint backlog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build an enterprise Responsible AI Dashboard providing real-time visibility into model inventory, risk tier distribution, fairness/bias metrics, drift status, incident rates, and compliance posture across all deployed AI/ML models.

  • Develop executive-level AI governance scorecards and board-ready reporting packages that communicate portfolio-level AI risk, remediation progress, and responsible AI maturity in business terms.

  • Create model-level responsible AI report cards that surface key metrics (fairness scores across protected classes, explainability indices, data quality scores, drift alerts, retraining frequency) for individual models and use cases.

  • Build automated data pipelines to ingest model telemetry, governance metadata, incident logs, and compliance evidence from the MLOps platform (AzureML, MLflow, Evidently AI) into the BI layer.

  • Design and maintain a centralized AI model registry dashboard integrating model cards, ownership, lineage, approval status, and lifecycle stage for the full enterprise AI portfolio.

  • Develop regulatory compliance tracking visualizations mapped to frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and internal governance policies, highlighting gaps, upcoming deadlines, and remediation status.

  • Create incident and anomaly reporting views that track model failures, bias events, safety incidents, and customer complaints with trend analysis and root-cause categorization.

  • Produce ad-hoc analytical deep dives for the AI governance team, e.g., analyzing fairness metric trends across demographic groups over time, benchmarking model quality across business units, or quantifying governance program ROI.

  • Collaborate with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to define, standardize, and automate the collection of responsible AI KPIs across the enterprise.

  • Establish self-service analytics capabilities so model owners and BU leaders can explore responsible AI metrics for their own portfolios without analyst dependency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years in BI/Analytics with at least 2 years building dashboards and reporting for technical or risk/compliance audiences.

  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one major BI platform (Power BI strongly preferred; Tableau, Looker acceptable) including DAX/measures, data modeling, and advanced visualizations.

  • Strong SQL skills with experience building analytical data models from semi-structured sources (model telemetry, JSON logs, API outputs).

  • Experience with data pipeline/ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent) to automate data ingestion from operational systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantitative metrics into clear, actionable visualizations for non-technical executive audiences.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts sufficient to understand model performance metrics, bias/fairness measures, and model lifecycle stages, you don’t need to build models, but you need to understand what the metrics mean.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Experience with responsible AI or model risk management reporting in a regulated industry (healthcare, financial services, insurance).

  • Familiarity with MLOps platforms (AzureML, MLflow, Databricks) and their monitoring/telemetry outputs.

  • Experience with Azure Purview, Alation, or similar data governance/cataloging tools.

  • Working knowledge of NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, or similar AI governance frameworks.

  • Python proficiency for data wrangling and automation of reporting workflows.

  • Experience creating data products that serve both technical and executive stakeholder groups simultaneously.
