Job Summary
Sous la responsabilité du Gestionnaire Principal de la planification de la demande, l'analyste de la planification de la demande élabore et gère les plans de prévision des volumes réguliers et promotionnels pour les produits existants et nouveaux par SKU, catégorie, client et lieu. Les responsabilités comprennent le maintien des paramètres d'entreprise et de système requis dans l'environnement de prévision pour préparer des projections précises et opportunes en unités, en dollars et en unités de taille équivalente. Il aide l'équipe des opérations d'approvisionnement à collaborer avec les clients sur les quantités prévues et les engagements concernant les stocks passés et à venir. En outre, il est chargé de travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe chargée de la stratégie d'approvisionnement pour communiquer et valider les volumes prévisionnels par SKU et au niveau global.
Section A – Responsabilités spécifiques
Prévisions (70%)
Analyser les données historiques et définir des hypothèses clés pour générer, gérer et calibrer une prévision statistique de base pour l'ensemble des UGS, des catégories, des clients et des niveaux hiérarchiques des sites.
Saisir les prévisions de vente et identifier les tendances du marché afin d'ajuster la demande en fonction de la sélection des unités de stock et de la tarification.
Réviser les hypothèses clés et ajuster le plan de demande sur la base des événements passés, d'une analyse quantitative progressive et des données fournies par les fournisseurs et les clients.
Planification concertée (20%)
Échanger des informations avec les équipes chargées de la stratégie d'approvisionnement, des solutions d'approvisionnement et des solutions de distribution aux hôpitaux, et ajuster les prévisions en fonction des modifications apportées aux contrats et des pénuries sur le marché.
En collaboration avec la gestion des comptes et les clients, il met en œuvre des plans d'activité conjoints, y compris les volumes prévus et les engagements en matière de stocks.
Assurer la liaison avec la gestion des comptes, les clients et les fournisseurs afin d'étudier les écarts entre les prévisions, les engagements planifiés et les réalisations.
Il est responsable de l'alignement sur un numéro de prévision unique (UGS et agrégat) avec les fournisseurs et les clients.
Soutien à la génération de revenus et soutien à l'exécution (5%)
Préparer des projections basées sur des hypothèses afin d'aider l'équipe de direction à comprendre la logique des prévisions pour les négociations avec les fournisseurs et les clients.
Fournir aux opérations du centre de distribution (CD) des projections sur les risques liés à la capacité du CD au niveau global, dans les unités de mesure appropriées.
Autres (5%)
Maintenir une connaissance professionnelle pertinente des catégories de produits et se tenir au courant des tendances et des conditions du marché et de l'industrie.
Agir en tant qu'ambassadeur des valeurs de McKesson.
Section B – Position Requirements
Expérience professionnelle
1 à 3 ans d'expérience dans un poste lié à la planification de la demande (l'expérience du système de prévision JDA est un atout important).
Expérience dans le domaine de la vente au détail / de la vente en gros / des cosmétiques / de la vente au comptoir / de l'alimentation.
Formation
Licence en chaîne d'approvisionnement, statistiques, gestion des opérations, ingénierie, administration des affaires ou discipline connexe.
Haut niveau d'intégrité, capacité à remettre en question les opinions.
Solides compétences analytiques.
Excellentes compétences en matière de partenariat.
Excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de présentation.
Capacité à collaborer avec différents niveaux de direction et d'employés.
Compétences techniques
Parfaitement bilingue, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral.
La maîtrise des systèmes ERP, des systèmes de planification et des systèmes de réapprovisionnement est un atout.
Connaissance approfondie des produits MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Project et Visio).
Connaissance des processus de prévision, des systèmes de prévision et de l'analyse statistique.
Autres compétences et capacités
Forte capacité à gérer plusieurs activités en même temps et à travailler sous pression pour respecter des délais serrés.
Aptitude avérée à travailler dans un environnement d'équipe interfonctionnel.
Souci du détail, tout en conservant un sens aigu du résumé et une capacité de synthèse.
Esprit d'équipe.
Capacité à identifier les problèmes opérationnels et tactiques et à proposer des solutions de manière proactive.
Le/la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l’extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral. Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Demand Planning, the Analyst, Demand Planning develops and manages forecasting plans for regular and promotional volumes on existing and new products by SKU, category, customer, and location. Responsibilities include maintaining required business and system parameters in the forecasting environment for preparing accurate and timely projections in units, dollars and equivalent size units. This role assists the Procurement Operations team in collaborating with customers on forecast quantities and commitments on past and upcoming inventories. Additionally, this role is responsible for working closely with the Procurement Strategy team in communicating, and validating forecast volumes by SKU and at aggregate levels.
Section A – Specific Responsibilities
Forecasting (70%)
Analyzes historical data and define key assumptions to generate, manage, and calibrate a statistical baseline forecast for all SKUs, categories, customers and location hierarchy levels.
Captures sales forecasts and identify market trends to adjust demand based on SKU selection and pricing.
Revises key assumptions and adjust demand plan based on past events, progressive quantitative analysis and inputs from vendors and customers.
Collaborative Planning (20%)
Exchanges information with the Procurement Strategy, Supply Solutions and Hospital Distribution Solutions teams and makes proper adjustment to the forecast to reflect changes into contracts and shortages on the market.
In collaboration with Account Management and customers, implements joint business plans including projected volumes and commitments on inventories.
Liaises with Account Management, customers and suppliers to investigate gaps between forecasts, planned commitments and actuals.
Responsible for achieving alignment on a single forecast number (SKU and aggregate) with vendors and customers.
Revenue Generation Support and & Execution Support (5%)
Prepares assumption-based projections to help the management team understand forecast rationale for vendor and customer negotiations.
Provides Distribution Center (DC) Operations with projections on DC capacity risks at aggregate levels in appropriate units of measure
Other (5%)
Maintains relevant business knowledge of product categories and stays abreast of market and industry trends and conditions.
Acts as a McKesson ambassador of corporate values.
Section B – Position Requirements
Working Experience
1-3 years’ experience in a related demand planning role (JDA Forecasting System experience an important asset)
Experience in Retail / Wholesale / Cosmetics / Over the Counter / Food.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
High level of integrity, showing ability to challenge opinions.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent partnering skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with various levels of management and employees.
Technical Skills
Perfectly bilingual, both written and spoken.
Proficiency with ERP systems, planning systems, and replenishment systems an asset.
Extensive knowledge of MS Office products (Power Point, Excel, Word, Project and Visio).
Knowledge of forecasting processes, forecasting systems and statistical analysis.
Other Skills and Capabilities
Strong ability to handle multiple activities at the same time and operates under pressure to meet aggressive timelines.
Demonstrated ability to perform in a cross-functional team environment.
Attention to detail, while maintaining a strong sense of summary and ability to synthesize.
