Program Overview

McKesson’s Intern program is designed to provide:

Work Term: Fall 2025- September 2nd through December 19th

Location: Mississauga, ON, CAN - 2300 Meadowvale Blvd (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
This student will be assigned a project-focused opportunity in a specific business unit and works directly with an Intern Coordinator and Sponsor. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry. The internship program also provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching and fun, and local activities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in determining the appropriate system (ServiceNow or Jira) for user-related issues, ensuring efficient routing and resolution.
  • Provide basic support to internal users, guiding them through Salesforce functionalities and troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Work with a cross-functional team (Scrum Master, Developers, and Business Unit Stakeholders) 
  • Regularly review and process user-submitted tickets within Smartsheet, identifying and taking action on requests related to data uploads, bug reports, missing information, and required updates.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, reviewing internal findings and supporting the execution of next steps for various product enhancements and issue resolutions.
  • Assist with data quality initiatives, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information within Salesforce.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains within Salesforce.
  • Dedicate 1-2 hours daily to self-guided learning and exploration of the Salesforce platform, gaining a deeper understanding of its functionalities, configurations, and capabilities.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required for this position.

  • Student enrolled in a post-secondary degree program, graduating or in 3rd year (computer science, business, or related field).
  • Curiosity and willingness to explore emerging AI technologies and their business applications.
  • Ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in various size teams and cross-functional environments.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to clearly communicate product vision and expected outcomes.
  • Interpersonal and professional interactive skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage the unknown.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) environment is an asset.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. 
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as needed.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$17.69 - $27.74
