Job Summary

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for enhancing the performance of McKesson Specialty Health by leading the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. This role is focused on identifying operational inefficiencies, developing and executing effective solutions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The position plays a critical role in driving productivity, minimizing waste, and improving quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Additionally, the Continuous Improvement Manager will support the long-term sustainability of operational excellence by providing training, mentorship, and hands-on guidance across the organization.

Location: 2300 Meadowvale Blvd, Mississauga, ON

Work Arrangement:This is ahybrid positionrequiring candidates to workon-site at least 2 days per weekat our designated office location. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Scope, plan, and execute initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Facilitate Workshops, Rapid Improvement (Kaizen) events, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving activities to improve efficiency and reduce variability
  • Leverage Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Visual Management to remove waste and make value flow
  • Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. 
  • Develop and implement new processes or refine existing ones to improve workflow and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Process Automation and other digital solutions to enhance efficiencies and quality. 
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and demonstrate ROI on improvement projects.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by educating and engaging employees at all levels.
  • Act as a change agent to foster acceptance of new processes and ideas.
  • Standardize processes and share documented best practices across the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve project goals.
  • Mentor teams and individuals in the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Serve as a resource for coaching and problem-solving.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.  
  • 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or operational excellence roles.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.

Key Competencies

  • Proven track record of leading and implementing successful process improvement initiatives.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Excellent Facilitation, communication and coaching skills
  • Exceptional organization, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to lead, influence diverse stakeholders, and manage cross-functional project teams.
  • Expert analytical, quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Experienced with MS Power Platform, data analysis tools and software
  • Flexible to accommodate various locations and hours as needed.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align improvement initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Team Leadership: Inspires and motivates teams to adopt a continuous improvement mindset.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$89,700 - $149,500
