We are currently seeking a Program Manager to join our Cell and Gene and Advanced Therapy (CGAT) team to support the planning and execution of large complex program in close collaboration with cross-functional teams from across the organization. In this capacity, this person will assist our workstream leads in driving the planning, preparing briefings for the team, tracking the execution, and proactively raising issues with management as they arise. The Sr. Program Manager is expected to meet established project goals while maintaining internal customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex programs, large cross functional projects while maintaining an efficient plan, issue tracking and proactively communicating against program milestones. This person should also be adept at building strong working relationships and quickly establishing credibility across the organization. The Program Manager will also develop processes and structure to assist with prioritization and visibility to strategic initiatives, driving and facilitating teams, and assisting with the sharing of project management best practices and tools across the PSAS Organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Cell and Gene and Advanced Therapy (CGAT) programs
  • Manage program charter, project plans, budgets, risks, and cross-functional team execution across functional teams
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to drive delivery excellence and implementation success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, network, Finance and business COE, to align project goals
  • Communicate program and initiative status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership through well-established processes
  • Translate high-level business objectives into actionable projects that influence long-term growth of CGAT capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and methodologies
  • Ensure implementation success by delivering on time, on budget, and with quality execution
  • Support any activities that will set implementation for success and drive positive customer satisfaction
  • Define and track program KPIs that measure business impact, system performance, and adoption
  • Identify process simplification opportunities and drive continuous improvement of all CGAT products

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience

Additional Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience with program management roles
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale technology programs and leading cross-functional engineering teams
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong project management capabilities with a focus on delivery, quality, and change enablement
  • Experience driving business process optimization in large matrixed organizations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to Have:

  • Strong background in reporting and web portal related projects
  • Proven experience in managing diverse vendors for successful program delivery
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred
  • Knowledge of McKesson's business processes and systems
  • Relationship management with customer management and various business teams
  • Ability to conduct customer meetings in order to understand business needs
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows Office Product Suite (MS-Project, MS-Visio, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word)

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$102,100 - $170,100
