As aSenior Integration Engineer, you will serve as the visionary architect of our integration frameworks. Your role is critical, ensuring the flawless development, deployment, and optimization of integration solutions across complex systems. You will spearhead efforts to harmonize system components, deftly balancing cost, risk, and supportability to deliver exceptional, scalable solutions. Your expertise will translate business and technical requirements into cohesive integration strategies that meet technical, schedule, and budgetary demands. Armed with a robust set of tools and technologies, you'll perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and map requirements to solutions, transforming visionary ideas into connected, intelligent systems.

Duties include but are not limited to:

System Design & Integration:

  • Lead the deployment of integration solutions that transform manual business processes into efficient, automated systems.

  • Design, develop, and validate complex integration architectures using APIs, middleware (e.g., Kafka), and cloud-native services.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize integration performance, reliability, and scalability.

Technical Leadership:

  • Serve as the technical lead, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve integration milestones and objectives.

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in integration practices.

Analysis & Problem Solving:

  • Conduct in-depth functional, timeline, and trade studies to evaluate integration options and make informed decisions.

  • Address unusually complex integration challenges with creative and effective solutions, leveraging independent judgment and expertise.

Program Management:

  • Collaborate with project managers to oversee the integration lifecycle from requirements to implementation, ensuring all phases meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources, managing stakeholder relationships to facilitate integration success.

Innovation & Development:

  • Leverage cloud-native tools and automation to drive innovation, improve integration capabilities, and enhance decision-making processes.

  • Contribute to the development of groundbreaking integration principles, patterns, and frameworks.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to implement AI and automation technologies in optimizing integration workflows.

Mandatory:

  • During your employment with SCRI, you will be routinely assigned training requirements. You are expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.

Knowledge:

  • Experience working in a clinical research or healthcare setting.

  • Experience with cloud platforms likeAzure, AWS, or Google Cloud for scalable and secure data processing.

  • Experience ensuring interoperability between different clinical systems and platforms.

  • Extensive knowledge of integration and engineering principles, theories, and concepts.

Skills:

  • Proficiency inAPI development,Kafka, andmiddleware integration.

  • Strong programming and scripting skills inPython, Java, and SQL.

  • Experience withAzure Functions,Logic Apps, andGitHub Actionsfor CI/CD and automation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex challenges.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and guiding teams.

  • Proficiency inVeeva Systems, particularly Veeva Clinical Operations, and familiarity with Veeva CRM is a plus.

  • Proficiency in integration design tools and methodologies.

  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

  • Ability to manage multiple integration projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with a team of skilled professionals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in integration or systems engineering, with a track record of leading complex projects.

  • Extensive knowledge of integration architecture, cloud services, and middleware platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex challenges.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and guiding teams.

  • Proficiency in integration design tools and methodologies.
