This role offers location flexibility and is open to candidates across the United States.

Candidates based in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area will be hired in a hybrid capacity and are expected to work onsite at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific inoffice days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.

Current Need:

A Technical Product Manager accountable for defining and executing technical strategy across critical platform and infrastructure capabilities supporting an Oncology EMR. This role establishes and streamlines CI/CD systems to improve development velocity, release reliability, and operational quality while driving modernization of underlying infrastructure to deliver stable, performant, and highly available services.

This role partners closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to shape currentandfuturestatetechnical vision, ensuring alignment between product outcomes and platform capabilities. The Technical Product Manager alsoleveragesArtificial Intelligence to reduce operational and maintenance overhead fordevelopmentteams, enabling scalable, efficient, and resilient healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Platform & Delivery Enablement

  • Define and own the technical strategy and roadmap for CI/CD platforms, infrastructure modernization, and shared services supporting the Oncology EMR, ensuring alignment to product goals, OKRs, and KPIs.

  • Establish standardized CI/CD pipelines, observability, security, and infrastructure patterns to improve development velocity, release reliability, and operational readiness. 

  • Lead cross-team dependency management and modernization initiatives to deliver stable, performant, andhighly availableclinical systems while reducing technical debt and operational risk.

Operational Efficiency, AI Enablement & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Leverage data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence capabilities to reduce operational and maintenance overhead forApplication Development,Operations and Site Reliability Engineering teams.

  • Partner with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders to translate current- and future-state vision into executable technical initiatives and measurable outcomes. 

  • Ensure operational readiness through ownership of documentation, runbooks, SLOs, release readiness, and post-incident learnings integrated back into the product backlog.

Collaboration, Enablement & Compliance

  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Site Reliability Engineering to ensure technical roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery plans align with product strategy and business priorities.

  • Engage security, privacy, and compliance partners to ensure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure platforms, andAIenabledsolutions meet organizational, regulatory, and healthcare compliance standards.

  • Support adoption and operational success by ensuring technical capabilities are scalable, reliable, andwelldocumented, including standards, runbooks, and enablement materials for downstream teams.

MinimumRequirement:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills:

  • 7+years' experiencein Tech Product Managementorequivalent engineeringroles; prior health IT preferred

  • Experience working with EMR systems and provider‑facing healthcare technologies

  • Understanding of technical build, deployment and infrastructure runtime tools and services

  • Experienceoperatingwithin Agile/Scrum delivery environments

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$136,500 - $227,500
