The US Oncology Network within McKesson’s US Pharmaceutical (USP) Segment isseekingto accelerate the impact and outcomes of our businesses by bringing on aSenior Director, Strategic Operations.
Strategic Operations Servicesis an internaladvisoryfunction withinTheUS Oncology Network that partners withoperationalleadershipand other key stakeholderstoexecute on the strategicobjectivesof the organization and to meet the complex needs of the patients that we serve.
Youwill lead a teamtoidentifyandmanage a complex portfolio ofstrategicprogramsthat pave the way to achieving our vision ofbeing the premierecommunityoncologymanagedservicescompany. You will support efforts toidentifyleading practices, improve processes, enhance systems, and realign the organization to realize opportunities. Theseprogramsare high visibility projects sponsored byTheUS Oncology Networkleadership.
MinimumRequirement
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience.
- BS required. (MBA, MHA,or graduate degreestronglypreferred )
- Recent experiecne in Oncology Practice Management
Critical Skills
Experience as an oncology operations leader/administratoror an oncology operations consultant
Experience managing projectsin aclinicaloroperationalsetting
Strong leadership ability to develop team members and establish and maintain standards of performance
Strong business and financial acumen, ability to evaluate financial reports and develop operational assumptions and financial projections for project outcomes
Able to managehigh-performancecross-functional teams from an organizational,interpersonal,and technical perspective
Mustpossessthe ability to work independently, organize work effectively and take initiative inafast-paced work environment
Proficiencyin PowerPoint and the ability to visuallyrepresentdata and articulate it effectively in a business case context isrequired.
Strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence senior leaders
Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
Superior project management skills withdemonstratedexperience successfully managing a cross-functional or cross-departmental team on a complex project
Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
Ability to work well under pressure and effectively and professionally navigate tough situations
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
