Program Overview

McKesson’s Intern program is designed to provide:

Job Summary:
As an Operations Supervisor Intern for McKesson Distribution, you will use your leadership skills to drive a culture of excellence through execution of daily operational plans and strategies. You will lead by allocating resources, disseminating information to teammates, and ensuring compliance with key processes, all while achieving safety, quality, efficiency and financial KPI’s.  

In this dynamic, fast-paced role you will exercise strategic thinking, effective planning, and utilize your communication skills to motivate and inspire your team, driving a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit the desired behaviors that support McKesson’s Culture of Excellence and iCare values 
  • Promote and communicate the facility’s service vision emphasizing “patient first”  
  • Through your authentic leadership you will influence, motivate and inspire your team to deliver their accountabilities: 
  • Culture of excellence, health and safety requirements, quality and compliance programs, KPI targets and results  
  • Find new and better ways to drive growth and profitability and build the capability, structure and culture required for innovation 
  • Demonstrate your commitment to employee engagement by deploying effective empowerment, feedback, coaching and development strategies for team members  
  • Exercise effective employee and labor relations strategies to manage Employee concerns and performance related issues  
  • Effective interpretation and facilitation of local collective agreement to foster relationship between management and the union  
  • Coordinate and leverage internal/ external business partners and units to achieve McKesson’s vision of Customer First 
  • Employ Lean Six Sigma methodology to optimize operational processes  
  • Implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (graduating or in 3rd year).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$17.90 - $29.03
