This position emphasizes ownership of execution intake and backlog governance—ensuring that reporting, extract, production support, and pharmacy claims–related data requests are consistently routed, refined, and prioritized through Data Tech standards. The role partners closely with Engineering Managers, Product, Operations, and Pharmacy stakeholders to translate roadmap initiatives into sequenced technical data work while balancing run-the-business support with platform modernization needs.

This role sits within the centralized Data Solutions function and partners closely with Engineering Managers and Product stakeholders to establish consistent execution intake and backlog sequencing within legacy reporting and extract pathways. The Sr. Technical Data Product Owner will also act as the technical custodian for Pharmacy and Pharmacy Claims data domains as part of the enterprise data domain governance model.

At this time, we are not able to offer sponsorship for employment visas. This includes individuals currently on F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, or any other visa status that would require future sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Position Description:

  • Act as the execution intake point for routed requests from centralized Data Tech intake processes

  • Engage Product and Operations stakeholders to clarify and translate requests into sequenced technical data work

  • Ensure all incoming data systems, reporting and extract requests are logged, refined, and prioritized through the Data Tech backlog

  • Map and document current intake, requirements, and production support workflows across legacy teams

  • Partner with Data Solutions Analysts to redesign intake and support routing processes

  • Balance run-the-business support needs with platform modernization work within team backlog

  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers to sequence work in alignment with ingestion standards and data platform architecture

  • Participate in PI planning to align backlog sequencing with roadmap enablement

  • Serve as the primary Data Tech contact for backlog-related sequencing tradeoffs within assigned domain

  • Serve as the technical custodian for Pharmacy and Pharmacy Claims data domains, partnering with domain stakeholders to ensure intake, sequencing, and reporting requests align with enterprise data standards and domain governance objectives

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Degree or equivalent, and typically requires 7+ years of experience in data analysis, technical data product ownership, delivery governance, or platform enablement roles

  • Healthcare data experience required, ideally exposure to pharmacy claims datasets (PBM, specialty pharmacy, hub services, commercialization analytics, etc).

  • Strong understanding of data engineering workflows, ingestion pipelines, and reporting enablement processes

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing technical demands within a delivery backlog

  • Experience engaging with Product and Engineering stakeholders to translate roadmap initiatives into technical requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate sequencing tradeoffs across technical and business teams

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing execution priorities across multiple teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong facilitation skills for backlog refinement and prioritization sessions

  • Experience working with healthcare data and regulatory considerations

  • Ownership mindset, with the ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term platform modernization

  • Experience collaborating with Engineering Managers to align delivery sequencing

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
