About the Company
McKesson is a leading healthcare distribution company that supplies pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies to various healthcare facilities including hospitals, pharmacies, physicians' offices, home care agencies, long-term care facilities, and surgical centers. The company serves more than 40,000 customers ranging from retail chains to independent pharmacies and healthcare facilities.
Shift & Compensation:
- Shift Details: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, or until completion of tasks.
- Compensation: $20.92/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing physical tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing products
- Unpacking and checking goods against purchase orders or invoices
- Maintaining records of received goods and rejecting unsatisfactory items when necessary
- Pulling and filling customer orders
- Working with RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory records
- Posting weights and shipping charges and preparing goods for final shipment
- Potentially preparing kitting packages for assembly production
- Operating power equipment including forklifts and other warehouse tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift without assistance
- Must be able to bend, sit, stand, twist, and stoop for long periods
- Walking up to 10 miles throughout a shift
- Standing and engaging in repetitive movements throughout the entire shift
- Ability to work with RF scanning equipment
Qualifications
- Typically requires 3+ years of related experience
- Working knowledge of Material Handling processes
- Experience in fast-paced distribution or warehouse environments
- Strong reading and basic math skills for managing order documentation
- Ability to work overtime (mandatory overtime typically occurs Monday-Wednesday)
