We are looking for a Platform Engineering candidate who is passionate about building scalable internal platforms, developer tooling, and cloud infrastructure automation. In this role, you will contribute to the development of Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), self-service engineering tools, CI/CD systems, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability solutions that improve developer experience, standardization, scalability, and operational efficiency across the organization.

You will work closely with engineering teams to build reusable platform capabilities, automate infrastructure and operational workflows, enhance cloud and container platforms, and support modern engineering practices using technologies such as Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and Prefect. This role provides hands-on exposure to modern platform engineering, cloud-native architectures, DevOps automation, observability, and infrastructure at scale.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

• Develop automation scripts, SDKs, and APIs using Python and Golang to solve platform engineering and DevOps challenges. 

• Build self-service developer tools such as CLIs, internal portals, and automation frameworks. 

• Contribute to internal developer platforms that improve engineering productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency. 

• Build and enhance Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and Data Developer Platforms. 

• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives focused on standardization, scalability, security, and automation. 

• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and automation workflows using Golang and Python. 

• Extend and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and observability systems. 

• Work with cloud and container platforms including Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker. 

• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot platform issues, improve developer workflows, and convert operational challenges into reusable software tooling. 

• Document tools, processes, best practices, and technical learnings for broader engineering adoption. 

• Support day-to-day platform engineering operations and ad-hoc infrastructure requests. 

• Help manage and automate data infrastructure platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Prefect, Airflow and Spark.  

What You’ll Learn

• How modern engineering organizations build and scale platform engineering and DevOps systems through software and automation.  

• How to design and operate Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Security-as-a-Service (SecaaS) solutions.  

• Backend service and API development using Golang and Python.  

• Cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, virtual machines, and CI/CD platforms.  

• Observability, monitoring, and incident response using tools such as Datadog, Wiz, and Azure Monitor.  

• Secure coding practices, cloud security fundamentals, and DevSecOps concepts. 

Minimum Requirement

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 

Basic/Critical Skills

• 5+ years of Project experience in programming, cloud, distributed systems or DevOps or Platform Engineering. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

• Proficiency in programming with Golang and Python. 

• Previous project experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals. 

• Good understanding of system design and the ability to solve real-world engineering problems. 

• Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure tools including Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. 

• Exposure to data engineering platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, Prefect, or Apache Spark. 

• Basic understanding of security concepts including IAM, RBAC, vulnerability scanning, security best practices, and compliance requirements. 

• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn quickly.
