We are seeking a Senior Workday Integration Specialist to provide hands‑on technical expertise in the design, delivery, and support of Workday integrations within a complex enterprise environment. This is an individual contributor role focused on integration development, execution, and operational support, operating under established architectural and program direction.
You will work closely with HR, IT, and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable integrations, contributing technical expertise while supporting delivery initiatives from intake through deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs, and web services
- Contribute to integration solution design in alignment with established architecture standards and best practices
- Deliver assigned integration enhancements, fixes, and project workstreams under defined scope and timelines
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including production incidents and defects
- Support integration testing, validation, and deployment activities
- Ensure integrations meet security, performance, and compliance requirements
- Maintain clear technical documentation to support operational readiness and ongoing maintenance
- Stay current with Workday releases and integration best practices
- Participate in regular working sessions and status discussions with stakeholders
- Identify integration risks or issues and escalate with recommended mitigation approaches
- Support vendor resources involved in system maintenance and issue resolution
- Follow established delivery, documentation, and change management processes
- Contribute ideas for process and quality improvements within the integration space
Minimum Requirement:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in HRIT, enterprise integrations, or related systems
- 5+ years of hands‑on Workday integration experience
- Strong understanding of HR data flows and downstream systems (Payroll, Finance, Identity, external vendors)
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex technical work as an individual contributor
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Experience
- Workday Integration Certification
- Experience working within established enterprise architecture and delivery frameworks
- Ability to document technical designs and integration specifications
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional application teams
- Exposure to operational support and incident management processes
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Working Conditions:
- In office requirement, we are Flex and Connect with 2 days a week in office
