Key Responsibilities


The Systems Integration Consultant is responsible for elevating the customer experience for key MMS accounts, ensuring use of Integration. Technology suite to derive maximum business benefit in a timely basis. Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex technology solutions and integrating architecture.


The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating on-boarding McKesson EDI trading partners, including but not limited to developing integrations with McKesson back-office systems, setup of EDI trading partner profiles in the McKesson EDI system (CIMS), coordinating on-boarding activities and supporting existing trading partner integrations. Integration with customers utilizing McKesson Direct technologies, (McKD). The role will require direct interaction with McKesson customers including home care, nursing homes, surgery centers, doctor offices, and retail accounts.


The successful candidate will be required to interact with a variety of customer roles and their (third party) system support teams to evaluate business processes and design and implement EDI/McKD solutions to meet the customer’s needs. The Integration Technology Consultant provides consultative services to McKesson customers, guiding customers to best practice integration solutions and ensuring integrations are mutually beneficial to all parties.


Qualifications:


Minimum Requirements


  • 4+ years of EDI mapping OR McKesson Direct experience.
  • Experience with API, HL7, XML and cXML file formats.
  • Experience with JD Edwards or Enterprise One.
  • Strong verbal and written communication Skills.
  • Experience implementing connectivity with software vendors, Client/server environment.
  • Experience with sFTP and AS2 communication protocol.
  • 4+ years of experience in EDI trading partner management or McKesson Direct transaction setup and support.
  • Experience interacting with customers/suppliers on various levels including technical, business and management. Ability to tailor communications to the intended audience.
  • Excellent customer communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong experience to drive project coordination and completion.
  • In depth understanding of EDI X12 transaction sets used in a distribution business, their function, structure and application (i.e. 850, 855, 832, 810 and 856).
  • Knowledge of X12 transaction enveloping and addressing.
  • Experience managing customer integration projects involving multiple systems and transactions.

Additional Knowledge & Skills


  • Health Care industry related experience.
  • Working knowledge of how to create a transaction specification document.
  • SQL (Oracle and/or DB2)
  • Strong Project/program management skills.
  • Experience with SalesForce and/or JIRA
