Position Summary:
The Director AI Operations Transformation will partner with the Revenue Cycle Team to revolutionize the revenue cycle landscape by leveraging cutting-edge AI and agentic solutions in the community oncology practice setting. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing transformative technologies that enhance revenue cycle processes and extend to other critical healthcare use cases. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strategic vision for AI integration, possess deep knowledge of the healthcare sector, and demonstrate a track record of successful technology-driven transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the implementation roadmap of AI and agentic solutions within the revenue cycle and broader healthcare applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Innovation and Solution Development: Lead the design and development of innovative AI-driven solutions aimed at optimizing revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and claims management. Explore additional healthcare use cases for AI application.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, financial, and IT departments, to identify opportunities for AI integration and ensure successful adoption and implementation.
Technology Partnership: Establish and maintain partnerships with internal technology teams, technology vendors, research institutions, and industry experts to stay at the forefront of AI advancements and integrate best-in-class solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Oversee and partner with cross-functional teams and third-party service providers to deliver comprehensive AI-driven solutions that enhance revenue cycle efficiency and support broader healthcare initiatives. Establish a prioritization framework to deliver backlog of use cases.
Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for AI initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Change Management: Drive organizational change initiatives to support the adoption of AI technologies, including training programs and communication strategies to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement metrics to monitor the impact and effectiveness of AI solutions on revenue cycle performance and other healthcare processes, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all AI initiatives comply with relevant healthcare regulations and maintain the highest standards of data security and patient privacy.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
Critical Skills
10+ years of experience in healthcare technology or revenue cycle management, with a focus on AI integration.
Proven experience leading AI-driven transformation projects in a complex healthcare environment.
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
Experience with AI technologies and platforms, data analytics, and process automation tools.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
