The Lead Product Analyst – Digital Transformation is a recognized expert who designs, develops, and manages activities for a specific product or group of products throughout the entire lifecycle—from definition and planning through production, release, upgrades, and end-of-life. This role serves as the central resource, collaborating with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing teams as products move to production and distribution. The Lead Product Analyst drives strategic digital initiatives, orchestrates complex AI-driven transformation programs, and ensures alignment between business strategy and technology delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, prioritization, and execution of high-impact digital and AI enabled transformation opportunities across the product lifecycle.
Facilitate senior management-level workshops to define strategic product roadmaps and champion enterprise-wide adoption of digital solutions.
Serve as the central resource for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless
integration of design, process, quality, and marketing as products move through all lifecycle stages.
Oversee modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of products or product lines, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
Partner with business and IT teams to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, while owning end-to-end problem discovery through pilot delivery for assigned initiatives.
Guide change management, documentation, and user enablement to ensure sustainable transformation and value realization.
Mentor and develop Product Analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
May lead teams and/or complex projects, utilizing significant internal or external resources to accomplish goals.
Knowledge:
Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts; may be regarded as an 'inhouse' expert on specific technologies.
Deep expertise in enterprise platforms (e.g., CTMS, Veeva Vault, SAP, ServiceNow, SmartSolve) and their integration across business domains.
Advanced understanding of AI/automation, data-driven improvement methodologies, and digital adoption analytics.
Familiarity with coding principles, AI Agentic/automation tools (hands-on preferred), APIs, with the ability to independently configure and test solutions
Ability to do hands on POC with AI tools, ROI analysis for product initiatives, and iterate based on real user and system feedback
Mastery of Agile, SDLC, and regulatory frameworks in clinical research and healthcare environments.
Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
Skills & Problem Complexity:
Exceptional analytical and strategic problem-solving skills to address unusually complex business challenges and deliver transformative outcomes.
Uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives and provide highly creative solutions.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Planview, Smartsheets).
Outstanding communication and influence skills to align senior management stakeholders and simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Expertise in requirements traceability, validation, and driving cross-functional alignment at scale.
Abilities:
Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range targets, determining and pursuing courses of action essential to obtaining desired outcomes.
Translates enterprise strategy into execution through visionary leadership and structured digital transformation.
Builds and sustains high-performing, cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results.
Applies advanced digital and AI capabilities to optimize processes and drive innovation.
Experience building low/no code or AI-enabled proof-of-concept solutions to validate ideas before scale, with personal ownership of prototypes, pilots, or MVPs.
Champions learning, quality, and SCRI’s mission at all levels of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
8–10+ years in product or business analysis, with significant leadership experience in digital transformation environments.
Demonstrated success leading healthcare or life sciences product initiatives at scale.
Proven ability to build strong partnerships, drive technology adoption, and identify high-value AI opportunities.
Strong track record of reporting progress and outcomes to senior management.
Education and experience equivalent to working on projects requiring specialized knowledge and consultative direction
