Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic Senior Manager, Product Management to own the roadmap for pricing and value capture technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how pricing decisions are made, optimized, and scaled across the organization. With a focus on innovation, AI driven insights, data-driven strategy, and operational excellence, the ideal candidate will help modernize legacy systems, guide the adoption of emerging technologies, and enable smarter, more adaptive pricing capabilities. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology, commercial strategy, and customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute product strategies that support modernization, scalability, and future-readiness across pricing and value management platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with architecture, analytics, finance, commercial, and compliance teams to deliver cohesive solutions aligned with business goals and technical standards.
  • Technology-Driven Enablement: Advocate for the use of advanced analytics, AI, machine learning models, and intelligent systems to improve pricing operations and decision-making.
  • Cloud & Architecture Alignment: Contribute to the design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments that support pricing workflows and data services.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in pricing-related processes. Drive automation and self-service capabilities to improve turnaround times and user experience.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure systems meet legal, regulatory, and data governance standards across diverse pricing contexts.
  • Innovation Leadership: Lead initiatives that explore new approaches to pricing and value delivery. Support experimentation and pilot programs to validate emerging ideas.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Translate stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements and measurable outcomes. Facilitate alignment across business strategy and technology workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years in product management, consulting, or technology. Ideal candidate will have previous experience in pricing and value management, cloud platforms, or data-driven environments.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering scalable solutions.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to AI/ML applications in pricing, analytics, or commercial decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$115,500 - $192,500
