Role Summary
The Director of End User Computing (EUC) is a strategic technology leader responsible for shaping and delivering a modern, secure, and seamless digital workplace experience. This role focuses exclusively on end-user computing platforms ensuring employees can work efficiently across office, remote, and hybrid environments. You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of endpoint management solutions, and device strategies that empower productivity and collaboration at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the EUC strategy, aligning with business objectives and workforce needs.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies, automation, and self-service capabilities.
- Develop a modernization roadmap for cloud-based services, endpoint security, and collaboration platforms.
Technology Delivery & Operations
- Oversee lifecycle management of all end-user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile, virtual desktops).
- Ensure seamless integration of EUC technologies with enterprise systems.
- Define and maintain endpoint security standards, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
User Experience & Support
- Establish and monitor KPIs for EUC performance and employee satisfaction.
- Champion user-centric technology experiences through collaboration with business stakeholders.
People & Financial Management
- Build and lead a high-performing EUC technology team with expertise in modern workplace solutions.
- Manage budgets for EUC infrastructure and software, ensuring cost efficiency and value delivery.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to meet service level agreements and performance standards.
Minimum Qualifications: Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience
Critical Skills
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on EUC.
- Proven expertise in endpoint management, cloud based DaaS, VDI, and mobile device management.
- Strong track record managing distributed teams and complex technology environments.
- Strategic thinker with ability to translate business needs into EUC solutions.
- Deep knowledge of end-user computing architectures, collaboration tools, and endpoint security.
- Exceptional vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience driving change management and adoption of new technologies.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
