Lead Material Handler - Receiving - Distribution Center
Location: Olive Branch, MS, USA - 8313 Polk Lane
Shift - Monday - Friday 7am - 3:45pm
Note - Shift subject to change based on the needs of the business. OT may be required and is mandatory if required.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
Perform research of product POs in the Receiving Problem drop zone
Perform receiving audits and document receiving and putaway errors
Work closely with Inventory, Supplier Relations, and Quality departments on resolving inventory variance issues by reconciling receiving errors and discrepancies
Work closely with drivers and other vendors
Research and reconcile YRAUD reports using the Acumax and SAP management systems
Collaborate with other colleagues and leaders to ensure department productivity and streamline receiving processes
Accounts for all materials and supplies in the department; audits goods received into warehouse
Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment
Develop resolutions to moderately complex to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.
Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires 5+ years of related experience
Additional Skills and Qualifications
5 years of work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of McKesson experience is required for internal employees
Substantial understanding of receiving department SOPs, material handling issues, and the ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
Exposure to receiving department – Searlization, DSCSA standards
Leadership skills, including coaching and fostering engagement and collaboration across cross-functional departments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead individuals and meet SLAS, SOPs, and targets
Ability to perform basic data entry, Excel, Word, and Outlook at a basic to intermediate level
Experience working with drivers and vendors
Must be a positive change team member that demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals
Good critical thinking skills with the ability to see the “big picture” and be proactive
Excellent organization and prioritization in a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and judgement within broadly defined policies and practices.
Ability to anticipate and adapt to change and direct or redirect efforts.
Other tasks may be assigned to improve and maintain the proper training and support of the DC
Other Preferred Qualifications:
Power Industrial Equipment (Reach Truck, Dock Stocker) experience would be considered a strong asset; location is willing to train, but, must be able to maintain certifications
Familiarity with warehouse management systems: SAP, Accumax and other software is required
Physical Demands (may include all or some of the following, some only on occasion):
General office demands
Must be comfortable working at heights
Must be comfortable working in refrigerated areas when required
Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)
Ability to lift 20-50 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
May need to work in cold or refrigerated areas
Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to hear normal voice sounds
