About the Role

McKesson is seeking a M&A Integration Lead to lead complex, enterprise-scale technology programs that enable mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, and carve-outs. In this role, you will partner with business, technology, finance, legal, security, compliance, and executive stakeholders to plan and deliver high-impact IT integration strategies that support business value, operational continuity, and enterprise priorities. You will bring structure to ambiguity, lead cross-functional execution, and use data-driven insights to guide investment decisions, manage risk, and support successful deal outcomes in a regulated enterprise environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead complex IT programs supporting M&A due diligence, integration planning, divestitures, and carve-out execution.
  • Develop technology integration roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, governance routines, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to assess systems, infrastructure, applications, data, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational impacts.
  • Identify financial opportunities, cost drivers, transition needs, synergies, and risks that inform business cases and integration decisions.
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders, escalations, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive portfolio governance, prioritization, resource planning, and delivery transparency using data, analytics, and structured program controls.
  • Communicate program health, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to senior leaders and sponsors.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and consistent delivery practices across project teams.

Basic Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, program management, technology delivery, M&A integration, carve-outs, or related enterprise transformation work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading large, complex technology programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, stakeholders, and executive-level visibility.
  • Demonstrated experience with M&A due diligence, integration planning, IT separation, divestiture, or carve-out activities.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, timelines, budgets, resources, governance routines, and executive communications.
  • Experience partnering with finance or business teams to support cost analysis, benefit tracking, synergy identification, or business-case development.
  • Experience operating in regulated, compliance-focused, or enterprise-scale technology environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in healthcare, supply chain, distribution, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data migration, ERP, cloud, SaaS, and application rationalization considerations.
  • Experience with portfolio management, scenario planning, predictive analytics, Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methods.
  • Experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Power BI, Smartsheet, or enterprise PPM platforms.
  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Prosci, ITIL, or related certification.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and financial information into clear executive-level recommendations.
  • Demonstrated strength in change leadership, collaboration, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.
