Job Summary
10-12 month contract
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable territory growth through disciplined pipeline generation, lead development, and the expansion of existing customer relationships. This role positions McKesson Canada as a strategic partner by delivering value‑based solutions, disciplined territory management, and measurable revenue and share growth across an assigned territory.

Section A- Key responsibilities
Growth & Account Development
- Achieve territory revenue targets through new independent pharmacy account generation and expansion of share within the existing customer base
- Win and grow pharmacy partnerships using a clear, value‑based wholesale proposition
- Identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities, partnering with internal teams to support efficient account setup and onboarding
- Drive retention through ongoing, proactive account management
Stakeholder, Relationship & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with pharmacy owners and key decision‑makers
- Act as a consultative partner through regular customer engagement and structured business reviews
- Resolve service, financial, and account‑related issues by coordinating effectively with internal teams
Territory Planning, Performance & CRM Discipline
- Develop and execute a territory plan aligned to targets, including a consistent call cadence
- Monitor performance and adjust priorities, call cycles, and strategies in consultation with the Field Sales Director, based on results, performance, and market conditions
- Capture market intelligence and analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Present KPIs, territory performance, and business reviews to Field Sales leadership
- Balance in‑store visits with opportunity management, follow‑ups, and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation of customer activity, opportunities, and next steps
Experience & Education
· 2–3 years of field sales experience, with demonstrated success managing an assigned territory
· University degree in Business or a related field
· Understanding of the retail pharmacy landscape considered an asset
· Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the assigned territory
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted customer relationships
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a field‑based environment
- Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation aptitude
- Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, and results‑driven
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce, Power BI, and AI tools
