Inventory Specialist Job Summary: This position performs a variety of task which may include but is not limited to the below:
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all applicable FDA, DEA, cGMP, regulatory mandates and company procedures
- Monitors inventory transactions to ensure accuracy
- Resolves inventory variances based off of internal/external customer correspondence (shortages, damages, product disposition, etc.)
- Maintains quarantine inventory and monitors all quarantined product on hold; collaborate with Quality Assurance to manage market withdraws and recalls.
- Support internal/external customer requests and respond timely
- Create purchase orders for supplies ordering
- Create and process RTV Orders
- Frequent contact with all departments including warehouse personnel. QA, management, carrier and client contact.
- Maintain multiple Excel and Word documents provided to various departments
- Cycle counting / Physical Inventories
- Inventory slotting & replenishment
- Returns processing / destruction processing
- Perform, delegate and direct daily volumes to meet production requirements
- At times may: receive, pack, ship, along with other warehouse duties
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email
- Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
- Must possess the ability to correctly input data into the computer
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and analyze general business documents, procedures, emails and communications.
- Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must have accurate mathematical abilities (add, subtract, multiply, etc.)
- Ability to foster team work while meeting production levels
- Ability to express ideas clearly both written and oral communications; ability to interact well with and communicate effectively with others (co-workers, management, vendors, clients) whether in person, on the telephone or through email correspondence.
- Ability to multi task
- Quality driven, organized, punctual, committed and detail oriented is a MUST
- Self-motivated and can work with little to no supervision
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate in SAP is a PLUS.
- Ability to operate powered mobile equipment (MHE: Chery Picker, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker, etc.)
Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
Work Environment: Work in a cGMP, climate-controlled, multi-client environment.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
