Trainer, Distribution Center
Location: Kent, WA, USA - 6520 South 228th St
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Note: Shift Subject to change based on needs of the business. OT mandatory if required. Flexibility required.

We’re looking for a motivated and flexible individual to step into the role of Trainer! In this position, you’ll leverage your experience to provide essential training for your colleagues, work varied shifts as needed, and gain exposure working across different departments when training tasks are not assigned. Key Responsibilities:
Primary trainer responsible for onboarding associates in all core warehouse processes including but not limited to: Picking and packing for LUM, Food Town, Coolers and Bulk; Induction; SWOG; QC Stations; Dock processes (strapping, direct trailer loading) Receiving, Put Away, Replens, Cycle Counts and Returns
Understands the confidentiality of business transactions; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity, honesty and ethically; Reacts well under pressure; Keeps emotions under control; Treats others with respect, courtesy and consideration; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Is consistently punctual to work, meetings and appointments; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Follows instructions and responds to management direction; Desires to develop and mentor others to ensure success.

Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of related experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience and working knowledge of at least 2 functions within a Distribution Center (i.e. LUM picking and Induction as examples). Internals must have at least 6 months of service to qualify
Must be able to learn and perform outbound and inbound functions
Power Equipment experience preferred. Must be able to operate and/or train on all powered industrial equipment including cherry picker, reach truck, stacker, scissor lift, and a powered pallet jack. Once trained, must be able to maintain certifications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills: Must be able to partner with diverse groups or individuals to train, mentor, and explain processes/SOPs to various levels of employees
Prior training/facilitation experience with the ability to present to large groups
MS Office– basic data entry, Excel, Word, Outlook
E1/RF web – look up product info, locations, cycle count history
Experience with Power BI and Master Control preferred
Critical thinking skills – root cause analysis
Basic Math – add/subtract/multiply/divide
Must be a positive change team member that demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individual
Must have a positive attitude, be quality driven, organized, punctual, committed, self-motivated and have an excellent attendance record
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality; self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong adherence to established procedures and safety protocols; comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
