Position Summary

The Crosswalk Analyst plays a key role in supporting our hospital clients by ensuring accurate alignment between charged medications and purchased drug products. In this role, you will review data, complete standardized medication crosswalk tasks, and perform basic calculations to support billing accuracy and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career professional with pharmacy technician experience who is looking to build foundational analytical skills in a healthcare environment.

Compensation: The target rate for this role is at $24/hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain medication crosswalks for assigned hospital accounts on a monthly basis.

  • Match charged medications to purchased drug items using established guidelines and tools.

  • Perform basic billing and utilization calculations to support accurate drug mapping.

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 45 hospital accounts, ensuring timely updates and high‑quality work.

  • Respond to customer support cases and assist with data clarification or issue resolution.

  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve data quality, process consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirement

Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare, Business, Data Analytics, or related field preferred, OR equivalent experience.

Certification

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.

Critical Skills

  • Experience working as a pharmacy technician (retail or hospital).

  • Working knowledge of medication terminology and pharmacy operations.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured workflows.

  • Foundational math skills and comfort performing routine calculations.

  • Ability to manage tasks with consistency, accuracy, and strong time‑management.

Additional Skills & Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).

  • Hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.

  • Experience with data analysis or healthcare billing processes a plus.

  • Familiarity with 340B, drug purchasing, or charge capture concepts a plus.

  • Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities.

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
