The McKesson Infusion Therapy team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infusion Sales Specialist to drive new business growth across Specialty Rx (SRx), IVIG, and vaccine product categories. This role partners closely with field sales leaders and internal stakeholders to expand market presence, strengthen strategic relationships, and deliver value across a complex and evolving healthcare landscape.
Job Summary
The Infusion Sales Specialist is a field-based role responsible for accelerating net new sales and supporting growth initiatives within Specialty Rx (SRx), IVIG, and vaccine product lines. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert, working collaboratively with Infusion Therapy sales teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and close business with Health System and provider customers across the U.S.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, the ability to navigate complex customer environments, and a deep understanding of infusion products, contracting, and market dynamics. Success in this position is driven by relationship-building, strategic execution, and the ability to translate product knowledge into measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Build deep expertise across Vaccine, SRx, and IVIG portfolios to effectively drive new sales, expand market share, and position McKesson’s competitive advantages within targeted accounts
Partner closely with Infusion Therapy Sales to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while supporting retention and growth of existing customers
Conduct in-person and virtual customer meetings to deliver compelling value propositions, address objections, and advance sales opportunities
Collaborate with Category Management to ensure a competitive and differentiated product offering aligned to market needs
Stay current on industry trends, clinical developments, and market dynamics to effectively educate customers and internal stakeholders
Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, trade associations, and key customer decision-makers
Lead and contribute to the development of sales tools, initiatives, and training resources to support Infusion Sales teams
Partner cross-functionally to align on pricing, contracting strategies, and customer-specific solutions
Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform broader sales strategy
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of relevant professional experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Clear driving record: 7-year Motor Vehicle Record Check
Preferred Critical Qualifications
Proven track record of driving net new business and exceeding sales targets in Specialty Rx (SRx), IVIG, infusion therapy, or related healthcare markets
Strong understanding of SRx/IVIG contracting, pricing models, and margin structures
Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and close complex deals with senior-level stakeholders
Experience working across large, complex customer environments, including Health Systems or infusion providers
Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment, partnering across sales, category management, and internal teams
Preferred Skills
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present to both small and large audiences
Advanced proficiency in developing impactful presentations and analyzing data (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to quickly learn and translate complex product information into customer-facing insights
Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Established network within pharmaceutical manufacturers or infusion therapy space (preferred)
Travel
This is a field-based role with approximately 30% travel required
Work Environment
Remote-based with regular travel to customer sites and internal meetings

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:
$153,800 - $256,300Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
