About the Role

We’re seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability, scalability, and performance across our cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud-native technologies, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage applications usingKubernetesandArgoCD.

  • Build and maintain infrastructure withTerraform Cloud(IaC).

  • Manage secrets and secure storage using tools like HashiCorpVault and Cyber Ark.

  • Monitor system health and performance withDatadog.

  • Implement service discovery and configuration withHashiCorpConsul.

  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation.

  • Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance standards.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.

Candidate must be based in the metropolitan area of our hub city Columbus, OH. Position will primarily allow for remote working

Minimum Job Qualifications

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience

Basic and Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role or similar position.

  • Candidate must be based in the metropolitan area of our hub city Columbus, OH

  • Strong experience withAzure, especiallyAKS (Azure Kubernetes Services).

  • Proficiency in deploying and managing applications usingKubernetesand ArgoCD.

  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, specifically with Terraform Cloud.

  • Proficiency inDocker, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps culture.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.

  • Experience in implementing and managing compliance standards within cloud infrastructure

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Architect

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Application Developer (CKAD)

  • HashiCorpCertified: Terraform or Vault Associate

Nice to Have

  • Experience withAWSorGCP

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$132,400 - $220,600
